- Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation is a competent horror title that won’t be for everyone. It’s not traditionally scary, but the engaging premise and structure make it worth seeing. There are quite a few rough edges, but the strong central mystery to unravel makes it worthwhile.
Kyle Nicol · Sep 12, 2023 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - Overall, it’s hard to recommend The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation. While it has an interesting premise, it’s squandered by a wide range of issues that not only hamper your ability to get immersed in its world, but also make it simply not all that fun to play. Only the puzzles here are enjoyable, in fact, and they’re not anything special. This is one to avoid, then, unless you really are hungry for some interactive Asian horror and have exhausted better options such as Project Zero/Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse.
Richard Seagrave · Sep 04, 2023 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation isn’t without some charm though, the retelling of this story goes some dark and strange places, and the acting is enjoyably cheesy for the most part. There are moments where it threatens to ramp things up in the gameplay department, but it’s not long before we’re into another boring chase sequence to slowly try and figure out. It’s short enough to power through if you really want to experience the story, but there are far better titles in the genre out there to play.
Jamie Collyer · Aug 30, 2023 Reviewed on Series X|SRead full review - The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation delivers a chilling and superb bit of horror storytelling, complete with some fun jump scares. The tightness of the locations and settings work dazzlingly well across both the real world and the supernatural. Personally, the hiding away and stealth elements wouldn’t be missed and there are problems with the sound mix. But on the whole The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation should be well considered by any horror fan.
Gareth Brierley · Sep 10, 2023 Reviewed on Series X|SRead full review - The Bridge Curse: Road to Salvation takes the traditional tropes and horror tactics and gives them a modern approach, creating a faster paced take on the genre. Visuals and audio are mixed, and the pacing isn’t always consistent, but The Bridge Curse does enough well to merit its creative decisions, good or bad.
Timothy Nunes · Aug 31, 2023 Reviewed on PS5Read full review -
