  • The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication is better than its predecessor, but not by much. I have a hard time taking it seriously as a horror game, and I have seen much better walking simulators. It lacks in almost every aspect, and I could choose much more suitable games for a Halloween scare. Yet, if you are a fan of J-horror you will most likely enjoy it, especially if you are into Taiwanese lore. If the developers manage to fix the pacing issues and rely less on cinematic storytelling the next episode might be quite interesting.

  • I thoroughly enjoyed The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication, just as I did its predecessor. The university setting provides a perfect backdrop for the ghostly narrative, which is both frightening and entertaining. The puzzles are varied and engaging, and the different gameplay elements create a dynamic experience. While the stealth and chase sequences can be frustrating at times, they don’t overshadow the game’s strengths. If you’re seeking a good scare, The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication is worth considering.

  • There is a lot to enjoy about The Bridge Curse 2 The Extrication from its well written story and characters to the unique monster designs. Its just a shame those monster designs lead to a lot of boring run and hide sequences. Those who enjoyed the first game or even the movies of the same titles will surly find a lot of love here.

  • Overall, I really enjoyed "The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication." It's a solid horror game with good scares, decent puzzles, and a creepy atmosphere. If you're looking for a good fright, check it out. Just maybe don't play it alone at night…

  • The potential is there for The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication. It could have been an amazing horror game between its beautiful graphics, interesting use of Chinese beliefs, and its memorable monster designs. Unfortunately, its overly long story and poor enemy AI weigh it down. That’s not to say the game isn’t scary, of course. It certainly took me much longer than necessary to beat it just because I needed to work up the nerve sometimes to enter certain rooms. If you want a scare and The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication sounds up your alley, then I recommend playing until the end of the third chapter.
