- When The Beast Inside shines, it does so brilliantly. But just as a candle in the dark can only burn so bright, this is a game surrounded by encroaching darkness. The Beast Inside is an uneven horror experience, even if it does have some truly bone-chilling moments.

This game was started on Kickstarter and within a reasonable amount of time reached its goals and then some. There is defiantly a few scenes that will stay in my memory, that aside everything is going to be rather memorable. Sure enough, I will be playing The Beast Inside a few more times over to see all the little things that I might have missed. I would give this game a solid 7 out of 10.

Still, I would highly recommend this to fans of the genre, as there aren’t many legitimately scary games like this one out there nowadays.

With some more experience in game development which will give its work that much needed level of polish, Illusion Ray Studio may well find itself making some of the most memorable horror experiences in gaming.

Si logra cautivarte en los primeros capítulos, es probable que te satisfaga también hasta su interesante final.

Nos ha parecido un juego muy entretenido, que nunca se hace pesado, y que siempre nos anima a seguir jugando. No es un título de terror puro, sino una experiencia que combina muchos elementos del survival horror con otros algo más aventureros, y a nosotros nos parece genial. Tiene sus cosas mejorables, pero en general nos parece una opción a tener en cuenta para aquellos que disfruten con juegos de terror y, sobre todo, que quieran hacer algo más que pasar miedo.

Trattandosi di un team di sviluppo molto piccolo, la resa finale del prodotto non è sicuramente da sottovalutare, sebbene emergano delle imperfezioni dettate dalla poca esperienza, unite a tanti elementi di gameplay che riescono a catturare l’attenzione, senza però essere enfatizzati e/o sviluppati al meglio.

Talvolta l’amalgama non è propriamente riuscito, e si notano anche alcune situazioni di gioco un po’ pretestuose; tuttavia nelle circa sette-otto ore che impiegherete per portarlo a termine, vi renderete conto di avere tra le mani uno dei migliori horror di fine anno.

Boston, 1979, Adam, the CIA cryptanalyst, leaves the city and moves to the countryside with his wife, Emma. His handlers are afraid they won’t be able to keep him safe there, but Adam believes he needs a peaceful place in the woodland, to take a shot at the military code. His work may alter the course of the Cold War. As it turns out, this area is quite the opposite of a peaceful place they have expected...
In the attic Adam finds a mysterious diary written by a man called Nicolas Hyde, allegedly, a past resident of the same house who lived there in the 19th Century. Once opened, the diary carries the nightmares of the past right into Adam’s times, putting the lives of Adam and Emma in great danger. Intensity increases as these two stories come to an inevitable crash. Distant past and his eternal prisoner - Nicolas against Adam, cryptanalyst from the Cold War. What can it lead to?
