- Tadpole Treble Encore is a fun game that isn’t too long but has a lot of replay value. You can also create your own levels if you grow tired of the actual levels of the game. The game isn’t a typical rhythm game where you just hit note blocks to the rhythm of the game but you’ll actually swim through a musical world. Tadpole Treble Encore is a game that is fit for all ages and can be now be enjoyed on the go as well thanks to the Switch version.
Theotakutem · Mar 13, 2021 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Tadpole Treble Encore is a game that doesn’t so much ooze charm as spray it everywhere like an out-of-control lawn sprinkler. If you’ve got a single musical bone in your body, Tadpole Treble Encore will be right up your stream.
Chris McMullen · Feb 04, 2021 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - The styles vary wildly across the game’s levels, but they all fit in quite well with what you’re looking at. It’s a charming package, which I didn’t expect at first glance. I happily stand corrected.
Kirk Hiner · Feb 04, 2021 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Honestly, and I don’t say this often, if ever, I have almost no criticism for this game. My single criticism is that I wish it was longer, and that’s just me being greedy. I want more to immerse myself in, more music to just get lost in. With everything the world has been through in the last year, Tadpole Treble Encore is the game we need.
Daymon Trapold · Jan 21, 2021 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - It's a cute little runner that has the aesthetic and feel of a children's TV show, which could make it ideal for younger audiences or people looking for a game that won't stress them out. Aside from that, Tadpole Treble Encore is a tad too shallow of a title to fully recommend.
Jamie Latour · Jan 21, 2021 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Tadpole Treble Encore is the perfect addition to anyone’s Switch library. With an additional stage and new unlockables, the game does enough to appeal to fans of old and newcomers. BitFinity’s love and passion for the project are evident in every aspect of the game and they have succeeded in creating one of the best rhythm games that I have ever played.
Jaz Sagoo · Jan 21, 2021 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Tadpole Treble Encore is a cute and exciting spin on the rhythm game genre. With well-designed levels and a robust creative mode, BitFinity delivers a unique, if short experience. Though I wish the game was packing more in the content department, I can’t dish on the quality of what’s there. Exclusive to the Nintendo Switch, Tadpole Treble Encore is a great way to play one the better rhythm games of the past few years.
Donovan Erskine · Jan 21, 2021 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Tadpole Treble is a game built for music lovers by music lovers. Its solid gameplay forms a perfect foundation for the music, which is the real star of the game, to take center stage. The level editor, however, is what gives Tadpole Treble real staying power. The type of feature that could make this a sort of cult classic, I wouldn’t be surprised if we start seeing YouTube videos of levels built in Tadpole Treble. If you like music, you should pick it up.
Dexter Gordon · Sep 09, 2016 Reviewed on PCRead full review - All told, Tadpole Treble is a wonderfully rounded experience. The excellent soundtrack is matched by equally fun gameplay, which can be surprisingly deep for those looking for a challenge. On top of that, the level editor adds a virtually limitless amount of content and replayability to that which is already offered in the main campaign. We'd highly suggest you pick this one up - it's a charming and memorable rhythm game that stands out as a real gem on the eShop.
Mitch Vogel · Sep 06, 2016 Reviewed on Switch, Wii URead full review - My own lack of creative ability is keeping me from getting in and writing a great song in Composition, but even going back and getting the bubbles I’ve missed during the first playthrough will keep me hopping to Tadpole Treble. Definitely look into it if you have a creative spark or just love rhythm games.
