  Table Top Racing is an excellent mobile game that doesn’t translate well to Vita. While it controls fine with only a few buttons needed for play, the core game is bottlenecked by its mobile origins. Vita owners are used to a more fleshed-out racing experience, and this is too shallow to get much play time. It’s fun in short doses, but doesn’t have the depth to offer up a rewarding experience.

  Table Top Racing is exceptionally good fun, alone or with friends. It's difficult not to recommend this game to anyone who owns a Vita - fast paced, bright and colourful racing with plenty to see, do and customise. What more could you want from a racer?

  Table Top Racing combines gameplay elements previously seen in the likes of Mario Kart and Crash Team Racing to create a well-balanced racer that becomes increasingly hectic as you bump up the difficulty. There’s a great deal of content to be had too considering the low entry price.

  With a price tag as small as its microscopic cars, Table Top Racing is an enjoyable novelty for a night or two. There’s some fun to be had here, spread across dozens of different events, and some vibrant environments. However, this isn’t an especially ambitious outing, so don’t expect it to drive away with your heart like the classics that it’s so clearly inspired by.

  Truth be told, Table Top Racing isn’t bad, but it’s not especially good, either. It feels like the product of someone working on a movie or television show saying they need a game that’s basically like Mario Kart, but isn’t Mario Kart so as to avoid licensing. And so we have this as our result, a functional game which neither sinks nor soars. With a price of “free”, it’s hard to recommend against it, but there are better, more exciting, and more engaging racers out there, even if you have to pay a little for them.

  It can be enjoyed for free, but in-app purchases get you rid of ads and add in-game currency to increase your garage collection and upgrade your vehicles. It supports six major languages.In conclusion, a great racing game. Humbler than others, but as fun and more happy-go-lucky.

  Without a doubt, Table Top Racing is one of the most polished and entertaining arcade racers in the App Store. With its great variety and mix of single and multiplayer game modes, it’s an incredibly well-rounded release that’s recommendable for casual and hardcore driving fans. Playing with tiny cars on the go has never been so much fun.

  I’ve always been a sucker for games that shrink you down in size, and let you explore a magnified world of the everyday objects you wouldn’t normally take a second glance at. While Table Top Racing may have a few kinks to work out in the control department before your Micro Machines are running smooth, there’s no denying the imaginative breadth of this game’s inviting household environments, and the incredibly big races that are crammed into such a small package.

  It is really this variety that keeps the game interesting and fun to play, despite some control issues. Just as players get tired of the mayhem of rockets and EMP blasts, the next race can change up the formula. Put simply, Table Top Racing is a high quality package that delivers a satisfying and varied combat racing experience.
