  SUPERHOT VR is one of the best VR titles to date, and the Oculus Quest is the best place to play it. There are no noticeable compromises, and only improvements in the port. The game doesn’t include any new content for this release, but we still recommend it fully, even if you’ve already played it on another platform.

  Still in its infancy, PlayStation VR is waiting for its killer game. Superhot VR is a solid contender, but one that falls short of the mark due to the hardware's imprecision. It's a puzzling game that rewards you for patience and thoughtful approaches to difficult situations, but those tracking limitations spoil the fun more often than not.

  Soundtrack or no, SUPERHOT VR has successfully taken one of the most impressively innovative first person shooters and translated it into VR exactly how it needs to be. Every time I finished a level I couldn’t believe how much I felt like I just acted out an action scene from one of my favorite action movies. If you ever saw John Wick, Atomic Blonde, or The Matrix and decided you wanted to be that action star, SUPERHOT VR is the game you need to play.

  Given SUPERHOT VR's price of entry, which is currently $24.99, you get a good amount of hours of gameplay, that's even worth repeating for additional challenges. Just know that over on the other side of that Oculus fence, the grass is definitely greener.

  If you do wish to experience SUPERHOT in VR I strongly suggest you get yourself a decent PC and a Rift. The PSVR’s poor tracking is a total bummer and shows how far we PSVR owners are from full VR experience. I can’t fully blame the hardware though, the developers should have known the limitations and planned around them. SUPERHOT is not ready for PSVR, and PSVR is not ready for SUPERHOT.

  You actually feel like you’ve briefly lived in an action movie, and there can be no better argument for the power of VR. Superhot VR is impossibly cool, unbearably stylish, and horrendously addictive. SUPER. HOT. SUPER. HOT. SUPER.

  I feel like every gamer should find a way to play SUPERHOT VR, but they should really look to play the Rift or Vive versions if they can. While it still provided some of the coolest moments I’ve ever experienced in a game on PlayStation VR, it also provided some of the most frustrating ones.

  All in all, however, Superhot VR is a ridiculously fun experience which somehow manages to make Superhot more Superhot. It takes everything that makes the concept great but couldn’t be done well with a traditional gaming setup and does them, immersing you into the Superhot experience like never before.
