- Overall, Super Mario Party Jamboree is an extremely fun title that is best played with friends or family. It’s Mario Party at its finest and the sheer amount of fun, enjoyable mini-games makes this a title that will be a hit with its subset of Mario fans. There’s a tonne of things to unlock and so much content here that you’ll be spending a lot of time getting through everything. Super Mario Party Jamboree comes highly recommended from me if you want a solid, fun-filled, wholesome party game to play with friends and family.

But if Jamboree is the last on the hybrid, it’s a great game to go out on. It’s a celebration of boards, and “Pro Rules” go a long way in making previous series’ complaints no longer valid. While there are a few minor issues, let’s face it: this game will sell millions, and deservedly so. Imposter Bowser and his boss minions don’t stand a chance, whether you’re a party of one, a group of local friends, or an online crew. Collecting stars hasn’t been this much fun in years.
Trevor Gould · Nov 06, 2024 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Super Mario Party Jamboree might just be one of the best games in the entire series. While many older Mario Party games do have that nostalgia factor, what Super Mario Party Jamboree offers is a lot more content, more variety, and as a whole, a very polished experience. While the AI opponents are still dodgy and feel like they tend to cheat outright at times, this is a title that will offer you hours upon hours of fun content. The online modes are the icing on the cake, and as a whole, the asking price feels extremely fair for this new Mario Party adventure.
Ibuki · Nov 06, 2024 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - The main event of Super Mario Party Jamboree is fine, but it doesn't offer anything truly original. As a package, though, there's plenty to like here, with several modes and ways to play, whether locally or online. The battle royale-like 'Koopathlon' is a real highlight in particular.
Kim Snaith · Nov 05, 2024 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Jamboree may not be about to hit the tournament circuit, but its very recognition of demand for a Mario Party with game balance is encouraging. Its basic game rules preserve series norms in all their highs and lows, while its motion-based gimmick modes offer nostalgic throwbacks to the wrist-twisting game designs of the Wii. But it’s the overtures to a more tactile, grounded, skill-rewarding board game experience that indicate developer Nintendo Cube’s interest in a future, and not just a past, for the genre of party mayhem.

Κωστας Παπαμητρου · Oct 29, 2024 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Super Mario Party Jamboree is a game for the whole family. It’s filled with over 100 minigames, responsive controls, and graphics that truly pay homage to what Nintendo is. This is one title that will have you coming back for more and more. Just be warned that some games can go for several hours, so if you have the time and are looking for something fun to play with your friends and family, Super Mario Party Jamboree is definitely that title on the Nintendo Switch.
Tim Cooper · Oct 28, 2024 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - There’s something for everyone in this game. Even if you don’t like the randomness of regular Mario Party, you can always try out the Kooplathon or Rhythm Kitchen. The variety of modes combined with the mixture of old and new mini-games and boards makes this one of, if not the best, Mario Party ever made. If you’re looking for a party game to play with friends or family, or even if you’re just looking for a game to play online, I highly recommend giving Super Mario Party Jamboree a try.
Jeremy Lowe · Oct 26, 2024 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Super Mario Party Jamboree is an excellent party game, and compares well with previous titles in the franchise. While remaining true to the nostalgic formula, minor tweaks, improvements, and new game modes help it rise above the series' modern releases to shine as a Super Star. Even if you have either of the previous Mario Party games for Switch, Jamboree is worth considering.
Austin Conrad · Oct 25, 2024 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Super Mario Party Jamboree revives the series' magic with a robust roster, nostalgic boards, and inventive new modes. While minor issues with online play persist, the game’s exciting gameplay and variety make it a must-play for Mario Party enthusiasts. Whether exploring diverse boards or unlocking unique characters, Jamboree offers hours of classic party fun, packed with the right mix of chaos and charm.
