    Ultimately, if you're looking for your first 16-bit Street Fighter, SFII towers over Alpha 2 as a masterpiece full of characters that have become household names and songs that go with everything. If you're a casual Street Fighter fan who already owns SFII, Alpha 2 isn't different enough to warrant a purchase, as it's largely the same game with some tweaks and a slightly different aesthetic. If you're a SFII veteran looking for something new, though, Alpha 2 provides a fresh perspective on the series with a more realistic, mature look at a younger version of the Street Fighter world.

    En cualquier caso, el control sigue siendo tan bueno como siempre y la propia mecánica de juego, unida a unos personajes llenos de carisma (si quitamos a Rolento, ejem), funciona de maravilla hoy en día. No es tan bueno como podría llegar a ser, pero tener 18 luchadores tan complejos por un precio de 7,99 euros, supone un incentivo suficiente para los fans de dar puñetazos con una cinta en la cabeza.

    Tecnicamente trata-se de um jogo de luta competente. Os controlos respondem com eficácia, proporciona um bom desafio sem ser muito difícil e não deixa de transparecer o espírito da série Street Fighter. Carrega consigo uma série de limitações e muitas arestas tiveram de ficar expostas para que o jogo pudesse correr da melhor maneira possível.
