- With the release of the Fractured But Whole, you'll be able to get a free copy of The Stick of Truth upon purchase. But does it still hold up?
Joseph Ocasio · Nov 16, 2017 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - Overall, the game is enjoyable throughout and has made me rethink licensed products in gaming. Those interested in replayability may find the game lacking, as most can be seen in one playthrough. If playing all classes is something you wish to do allocate roughly 100 hours (I could think of more shitty ways to spend 100 hours). I recommend this game to any South Park fan, RPG fan, or video game fan. Ultimately, everyone should give this game a go.
Patrick Webb · Mar 14, 2014 Reviewed onRead full review - There are a multitude of Easter eggs and secrets to be found. While some of these are as simple as the plethora of junk items referring to the countless events of the television series, others are just completely out there for random laughs and cringes, such as opening a house's front door just to find a man committing bestiality with a horse. The randomness of South Park's comedy is completely unparalleled -- it is the funniest video game we have ever played, topping even Conker' Bad Fur Day and Deadpool.
Jon Ledford · Mar 14, 2014 Reviewed on PS3Read full review - It looks just like the show in every possible respect -- both during gameplay and cutscenes. Without a doubt the finest TV-to-video game adaptation for a very long time. South Park is a great RPG, a faithful adaptation of its source material -- and a game that knows when to stop before its shtick becomes tiresome.
Pete Davison · Mar 05, 2014 Reviewed on PC - Fans of the show need not hesitate, this is a must own experience. For those that find South Park offensive or juvenile, this game was never intended for you, and there is likely nothing that will change that. I loved every minute of this title, but it requires knowing what you are signing up for before diving in.
Ken McKown · Mar 04, 2014 Reviewed on X360Read full review - Stick of Truth is not for everyone. If you offend easily or just don’t get South Park humour you are best to stay with your Skyrim game. Yet if you want to have a fun time, laugh your ass off and feel like you are living in an extended episode of South Park, then look no further. Stick of Truth is for you.
Trevor Houston · Mar 04, 2014 Reviewed on X360Read full review - If it were just five or more hours longer in content, South Park: The Stick of Truth would have struck the perfect balance between writing, gameplay, humor, and length. Not since Earthbound and Super Mario RPG: The Legend of the Seven Stars has there been a turn-based RPG with such a distinct style and with so many memorable moments.
Nick Tan · Mar 04, 2014 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Obsidian's RPG is an absolutely fantastic, surprising experience. It's great for those willing to favor story and comedy over innovative gameplay--and still a damn fun time for anyone interested in a light, open-world RPG. Instead of a game trying to be South Park, it actually feels like you're playing South Park, and playing South Park is… well, it's pretty fucking kick-ass.
Hollander Cooper · Mar 04, 2014 Reviewed on PCRead full review - If you like South Park you will love The Stick of Truth, plain and simple. It feels like you are marathoning the show, and marathon you will. It’s so hard to put this game down. When I first picked it up, I found myself, literally, playing it for seven hours straight. I just couldn’t get enough of it. When I found myself replaying scenes from the game in my head late at night, I decided to play instead of sleep.
Angelo M. D'Argenio · Mar 04, 2014 Reviewed on PS3, X360Read full review - TSoT is the best, most faithful South Park game to date, but it’s still just an okay game. That said it might also be your only chance to fart on a flaming, used tampon and hurl it at Nazi zombie fetuses, unless they make another Postal.
