  • Therefore an easy to learn game enjoyable since the first play, perfect to leave afar the worldly noise and mundane problems. Suited for everyone.

  • Really, Smash Hit is quite an intelligent game for something so simple. It’s about breaking glass, but the way everything works around that core idea makes the game great.

  • I came into Smash Hit expecting a standard runner, but I came away extremely impressed, to the point where I picked up the premium version just to support it. If you're looking for a new experience with a whimsical, well designed world, give it a try.

  • Smash Hit takes a bit of getting used to – it is, for instance, difficult to tell where your character’s hit box is, which makes collisions unpredictable at times – but once you’re on your way, it’s a soothing experience. Best of all, your mom won’t get mad at you for breaking these windows.

  • Smash Hit is a simple premise with an effective presentation, and is overall rather addictive. There seems to be a slightly growing trend of games being produced with a more serene nature in mind as you make your way through various levels with unique styles and a lack of enemies to speak of (NightSky being a good example of this). Smash Hit feels like the latest game to be made in such a style, and is definitely worth checking out.

  • Smash Hit is a great game for anyone who likes the genre, but who is looking for something fresh. Its name may seem a bit presumptuous, but with its clever twist on the endless-runner style and the smashing fun that doesn’t quickly get old, Smash Hit lives up to its own name and may certainly become just that – a smash hit.

  • Still, there's some fun to be sucked from the simple tapping gameplay, and the constant crashing makes for a strangely cathartic experience. A simple, cathartic on-rails pinball shooter, Smash Hit doesn't have much to offer beyond its initial mechanics, but it's still pretty fun.
