- Overall, the game is pure creative fun. While playing I feel like a mystical techno-word magician, bringing to life my entire maniacal imagination through my little Android phone. 5th Cell struck gold with this idea in 2009, and they’ve only continued to grow the franchise with the addition of Scribblenauts Unlimited. I for one, certainly want to become a Scribblenaut.
Lenny DiBono · Feb 08, 2016 Reviewed on AndRead full review - All in all, this title has a lot going for it. In addition to the diverse puzzles, this game has a great sound track. There are multitudes of songs and energizing sound effects that help to bring the experience to a new level of immersion. The graphics are unique and have a fun hand-crafted look to them. The game has a lot to offer in regards to level and level-design diversity. It will certainly have something to offer to players of all ages, and can be an extended adventure for both casual and experienced gamers out there. At five dollars, the price might seem a little steep to some for a game, but it does offer a great deal of content and is sure to offer you an enjoyable challenge.
Alexandra Avast · Feb 06, 2016 Reviewed on iOS, And - The best part is seeing your creations come to life, and finding out what solutions can work. The game works nicely on iOS, and it allows you to dive in, and go from area to area with all new creative potential.
Trevor Sheridan · Dec 18, 2015 Reviewed on iOS - Overall, Scribblenauts Unlimited is an excellent game that is great for all ages that allows players room to play however they’d like — though Scribblenauts Unlimited truly shines when players use their imagination.
Tom Christiansen · Dec 17, 2015 Reviewed on iOS, AndRead full review - Ultimately, Scribblenauts Unlimited's biggest problem is that it can never live up to its own title – random tomfoolery won't add too much to the brief six or seven hours it takes to finish the story and complete all the main challenges. Still, I'd bet the pile of gold I've just typed into existence that you'll spend much of that time with a genuine smile on your face.
James Archer · Mar 04, 2013 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Scribblenauts Unlimited on 3DS might lack a few of the more interesting innovations of its Wii U counterpart, but that doesn't keep the experience from still being uniquely fun and captivating. While an object editor and multiplayer co-op would have been nice touches, there's still a lot of puzzle-solving enjoyment to be had.
Corbie Dillard · Jan 02, 2013 Reviewed on 3DSRead full review - Unlimited focuses on fine-tuning and expanding upon the elements that make the series unique. The seamless, handsome looking game world is thoughtfully constructed and honestly just a lot of fun to play around in. Serious wordsmiths may bemoan the lighter difficulty and more streamlined puzzle play, but it’s hard to grumble when the simple act of noodling around with your wacky word creations is so blissfully absorbing on its own.
Game Trailers · Dec 04, 2012 Reviewed on PC - It's ultimately your duty to provide the fun because the included puzzles rarely test your skills, and though the extreme flexibility means it's inherently fun just to mess around, that does grow tiresome too quickly. Still, there's a lot of love about this latest installment, and if you have a warped sense of humor and friends eager to share in the twisted good times, Scribblenauts Unlimited provides another good outlet for your silly tinkering.
Tom Mc Shea · Nov 29, 2012 Reviewed on Wii URead full review - If you’re a fan of previous entries in the Scribblenauts series, then you’re going to love Scribblenauts Unlimited. If you’ve never played one before, then now is absolutely the time to start. The campaign could be considered to be on the short side, and the multiplayer gameplay leaves much to be desired, but, as always, Scribblenauts is about the pure joy of extending your imagination. This is the kind of game that looks great, controls well, and provides a whole heck of a lot of family-friendly fun.
Ron DelVillano · Nov 29, 2012 Reviewed on Wii URead full review - It's clear that 5th Cell had ambitious ideas here, especially given the title. And what it does present is pulled off with the same slick execution and silliness of the previous games. But there's no forward movement that evolves Scribblenauts. This is a collection of craziness, laser sharks, and silly robots all clamoring for happiness, and you can certainly oblige them--but don't expect a real challenge.
