  There are probably better choices on the App Store for arcade racing fans, and some of them are free, so in the broader market, this might not be the best racer out there. What it does offer is a delivery of a promise made long ago: a proper iOS version of an arcade classic, with a feel unlike any other.

  You'll have to have some patience to wade through the molasses-like unlock system, but thankfully, it is possible to slowly make your way through the game's content without spending extra cash. With the removal of IAP, and the addition of controller support and a real multiplayer mode, Slipstream could be something really special.

  Ridge Racer Slipstream is flat in a few areas, particularly with the strenuous earning system and the lack of online multiplayer. However, if you're a fan of the series or looking for an ideal racer for the holidays, this one will rev your engine.

  The only other negatives i can point out are that you might grow bored of it after playing for too long, so keep in mind that Ridge Racer Slipstream, like the use of nitrous, is best enjoyed in short bursts.

  It's somewhat cheeky offering up in-app purchases alongside a premium price tag, but it's just about forgivable. Ridge Racer Slipstream offers the traditional Ridge Racer spirit, with some stunning visuals, as well as distinctive music reminiscent of other titles. More importantly, it's going to keep arcade racer fans entertained for a while to come.

  There really isn’t much bad to say about Ridge Racer Slipstream, and it stands to reason, as Namco Bandai have been producing installments for almost every platform imaginable for so long, they seem to more or less have it down to a science.

  La saga arcade más conocida y veterana de Namco, Ridge Racer, visita una vez más los dispositivos portátiles con una versión que nos ha dejado muy buenas sensaciones... más allá de su falta de estabilidad. Y es que estamos ante un título muy completo que presenta una amplia gama de circuitos y modos de juego, un sistema de control que se comporta de manera impecable y un acabado gráfico sensacional.

  Sulit bagi saya untuk merekomendasikan Ridge Racing Slipstream karena gameplay yang terlalu kasual dan sistem IAP yang cukup kental untuk ukuran game premium. Pilihan yang lebih baik dari pada membeli Ridge Racing Slipstream adalah mengunduh Real Racing 3 dan Asphalt 8. Jangan khawatir, kamu tidak akan melewatkan keseruan apapun dengan tidak membeli game ini.
