  • Gameplay-wise, this game is phenomenal. The events are intense and enjoyable and the exploration makes everything in between races and challenges equally entertaining. The world of Riders Republic feels very alive, and so am I as I am playing it.

  • Riders Republic is an action-packed game that’s not only exciting to play but also very fun to discover, pretty much because depending on the route you choose, everything feels new and fresh even if you’re not playing it for the first time.

  • Riders Republic is the de facto ruler of extreme sports MMOs. There is no denying that Riders is one of the best extreme sports games to hit the market in a long time, but the massively multiplayer portion of the game could use some work. There is very little cohesion that brings all of the various riders together as part of a republic. Even the main story is solely focused on your specific accomplishments in each of the sports.

  • Overall, Riders Republic takes what makes Forza Horizon great and puts an X-Games type twist to it. Biking, Snowboarding, and wingsuit races will make you want more action as you complete story missions and events to earn sponsors. Riders republic is out for most major systems and consoles right now for 59.99 USD.

  • It certainly is a well-made game for the most part. In fact, It’s a rare open-world game where it focuses on the core fun gameplay loop rather than wasting your time with pointless activities to pad up the game length. But that still isn’t enough to save Riders Republic into a vicious cycle of repetition, just like every other Ubisoft open-world game.

  • Overall, Riders Republic is a game that is highly reminiscent of both Steep and The Crew 2 in that you have a massive open-world playground at your disposal. Ubisoft have done a great job here and the game is ridiculously enjoyable to play. If you’re a fan of extreme sports and games that give you a lot of freedom to explore a sandbox, Riders Republic will appeal to you.

  • Riders Republic is a fun game to sink several hours in, especially with the many events and online options on offer. We do find that this is one of those in-between games, where you mainly play it when you’re in-between bigger titles or when you just want to have some good old-fashioned brainless fun. The game does take a lot of time to properly master, but random crashes and online players just throwing you off the tracks may infuriate certain players or just feel a bit too random.

  • The story is lackluster, the microtransactions are everywhere, but everything else is amazing; it's like being on a rollercoaster ride every single second you play. Ubisoft put its heart and soul into developing every location just so that each race and each moment feels immensely different from the next. It's an absolutely thrilling, immersive experience that does well to keep you entertained for hours and hours on end.

  • The world is a joy to explore thanks to the many biomes and landscape types you see. Compared to the rest of Ubisoft's open-world games, each pip on the map serves a much higher purpose than providing something to keep you busy. The instantaneous fast-travel, and the races pull off many adrenaline-pumping moments that you'll want to revisit. The title still has some issues, like some odd collision during the exploration and the unnecessary presence of microtransactions.

  • In the end, Riders Republic dies by a million cuts. I can only hear the same song or dialogue so many times before it stops being annoying and becomes infuriating. Riders Republic is a missed opportunity at a unique and fun action sports game – a genre I grew up on that I sorely miss. It's a game I don't see myself returning to anytime soon.
