- El género Roguelike está en boga y ofrece propuestas interesantes. Prueba de ello es [REDACTED] un juego de ritmo rápido y frenético, cuya experiencia nos lleva a enfrentarnos no solo a abominaciones, sino a otros supervivientes, e incluso, a una versión infectada de nosotros mismos. Su jugabilidad es sólida y divertida pero algunas áreas podrían haber sido mejor pulidas.

Dimentichiamo la corsa per la libertà contro i rivali, e avremo per le mani un ottimo dungeon crawler con un mucchio di armi e uniformi da sbloccare per far a pezzi zombie, mostri e boss in maniera sempre più brutale. Proviamo a far affidamento sugli scontri con gli altri fuggitivi, e rimarremo delusi. La formula di gameplay è ancora relativamente fresca, il comparto artistico e ottimo, dunque lanciamoci in questa nuova ordalia senza curarci troppo dell’originalità.

It's a rougelike with a rough exterior that once you crack through the dizzying first several hours, you'll have a lot of fun experimenting with mutated destruction.

The racing rivals and random events keep runs feeling fresh, although its comparatively short runtime and relatively lacklustre melee combat prevent it from being one of the greatest.

The mechanics are fun, the game's unique features help spruce things up considerably, and the core gameplay loop is extremely satisfying. However, it does lack some variety, and the actual setting lacks a unique flair. While that does not ruin the experience, it may hold it back for some. But if players are looking for another title to spend hours on, this game may be for them.

One quick run before bed becomes two, becomes three. And that's pretty much all it needs. I know where and why my guard died and immediately want to rectify it. And, despite coming back to the same build, I do want to unlock the remaining weapons and buffs.

A ideia de explorar um universo tão rico como o de The Callisto Protocol cai como uma luva para colocar os jogadores em cenários variados e repletos de criaturas. A sua jogabilidade frenética é um prato cheio para quem busca desafios, e o sistema de recompensas faz com que morrer não seja tão ruim assim. Mesmo sem tanta divulgação ou com um marketing limitado, o jogo tem tudo para ser um dos melhores do ano nesta categoria. Agora, se ele terá o mesmo sucesso de outros, como Hades, Dead Cells e Vampire Survivors, só o tempo dirá.

There's a good game here, somewhere in the middle, once you're past the lackluster opening and monotonous ending. Redacted doesn't really expand on The Callisto Protocol universe, but I'm glad it exists. For as flawed as both games are, I still haven't lost interest in seeing more stories from this world, and I hope Striking Distance has a chance to tell them. Redacted just falls short a few too many times.
