- Puzzle Quest 3 is an excellent addition to the match-3 puzzle combat adventure genre. The game is easy to pick up and plays smoothly. With an intriguing story and amazing cast of characters, it's sure to be a hit for people across the board.

I had hoped for a grand quest, but what I got only left me puzzled.

The sheer volume of lootable goods from the vast selection of game modes present is no doubt a real draw. Being a free-to-play offering, there are questionable ideas and features in Puzzle Quest 3, but nothing serious enough to put you off.

It's not for casual players, and the paywall feels a little too high at times, but the match-3 combat itself is an engaging experience that's one for the books.

Nel vivo dell'azione, la solita magia del puzzle match-three riemerge con forza, supportata dal contesto in stile RPG, ma la mancata condivisione della griglia con l'avversario già risulta in un annacquamento delle caratteristiche strategiche originali, a cui bisogna poi aggiungere le macchinazioni contorte che sembrano voler spingere l'elemento ruolistico verso le micro-transazioni. È un peccato perché il nucleo del gioco resta valido e interessante, qui supportato anche da una buona rappresentazione grafica in 3D e una certa base narrativa con tanti contenuti da scoprire, ma nel complesso Puzzle Quest 3 risulta inferiore ai predecessori.
