"Prototype 2" continues the action-packed saga that started with its predecessor, and while it builds upon some of the original game's strengths, it also introduces a few drawbacks that may leave some players wanting more.

Visually, "Prototype 2" makes some notable improvements compared to the first game. The graphics are more refined, and the environments feel more detailed and immersive. The dark and gritty atmosphere of the city remains intact, but the enhanced visuals contribute to a more polished gaming experience.

The sound design in "Prototype 2" maintains the intense and chaotic feel of its predecessor. The music and sound effects complement the gameplay, immersing players in the world of chaos and destruction. However, the voice acting, while adequate, may not stand out as much as in other AAA titles.

In terms of interaction, "Prototype 2" builds upon the shapeshifting mechanics of the first game, allowing players to unleash even more devastating attacks and combos. The controls remain responsive and intuitive, providing an enjoyable and fluid combat experience. However, some players may feel that the new additions lack the innovative spark of the original game.

The mechanics of "Prototype 2" continue to offer satisfying feedback and fun. The ability to run, glide, and obliterate enemies with newfound powers maintains the thrill of being an unstoppable force. The game encourages players to experiment with their abilities, creating an engaging and empowering experience.

When it comes to character development, "Prototype 2" introduces a new protagonist, James Heller, who seeks revenge against Alex Mercer, the protagonist of the first game. The narrative explores themes of revenge and redemption, adding depth to Heller's motivations. While the story provides a clear and straightforward direction, some players may find it less compelling than the first game's storyline.

One notable addition to "Prototype 2" is the improved variety in mission structures and side quests. The game offers a wider range of objectives and challenges, enhancing the overall gameplay experience. However, some players may still find certain missions repetitive, as the core gameplay loop remains relatively unchanged.

As a sequel, "Prototype 2" successfully expands on the world and mechanics established in its predecessor. While the improved visuals and refined gameplay mechanics contribute to an overall better experience, the lack of innovative elements and a less gripping story may leave some fans of the original wanting more.

In conclusion, "Prototype 2" is a solid continuation of the "Prototype" series, delivering an action-packed adventure with improved visuals and gameplay mechanics. While it successfully refines some aspects of the first game, it also falls short in introducing groundbreaking elements. Nevertheless, for fans of the franchise and those looking for a visceral action experience, "Prototype 2" remains a worthy addition to their gaming library.

Little more polished than first part, better gameplay, story tho, same formula, but still interesting, overall, good game. Love the franchise, I hope that sometime in the future we will see part 3.

This game is perfect. It has the hack and slash style with various abilities and power. You can literally do chaos in prototype 2 and feel like a superhero. A must play title, just go and purchase it without thinking.
