  As cute and appealing as Plantera's presentation is, there's very little 'game' here. Instead, this is an idle game, a click game, one meant to be played between other tasks, and therefore one not well suited to the Wii U. There's still fun to be had, but only in short play sessions that will inevitably become shorter and shorter until, very quickly, there's nothing left to entice you back.

  While Plantera doesn't boast an impressive physics engine or an exhilarating, fast-paced experience, it has a certain charm that makes it worth playing, even if only for a few minutes each evening. However, it doesn't offer much else that similar games will, and if you only intend on playing it on one platform it is a fairly high price for a title that is free on mobile devices, albeit with ads and microtransactions, and costs more than twice its PC counterpart.

  It is the kind of game that has to be made to find the true appeal of something, and as such, it has a lot of value for the company, and maybe even the entire industry, to see what to avoid. The problem is, however, that it got released. This is a game that, during play test, should have got turned down and got reworked until it became a far more appealing package for its customer base. The lesson to be learned is to not sell unripe fruit.

  The cutesy graphics, gorgeous soundtrack and punchy sound effects ensures you this isn’t a waste of time. A few more crops and upgrades would be nice, but with the cheap price tag you can’t really go wrong. I couldn’t tell you if this game will remain memorable, but a few players will be keen to chase after the numerous steam achievements, and I certainly enjoyed my time with it.

  Provavelmente Plantera é o único "clicker" presente nas consolas Nintendo, no entanto problemas de desempenho e de interface e oferecendo menos conteúdo que o típico jogo gratuito do género tornam a sua compra pouco recomendável.

  Kanske är det inte så konstigt. Kanske är spelet anpassat till en yngre publik som tycker att klicka på persikor och grisbajs är det roligaste som finns. Jag ledsnade flera gånger. Jag tror att det här spelet hade passat bra som mobilspel eller på platta. På en stationär dator riskerar jag mest att få musarm.
