  Picross e4 offers very little new from its predecessors. This may come as a disappointment to some, but is not necessarily a bad thing for the grid-minded who have yet to have their fill. Familiarity can breed contempt, but in the cases of crosswords and other classic setups, it can also breed quite a following. Since it contains both the Micross and Mega Picross modes introduced in prior titles, e4 is arguably the best jumping in point for interested newcomers as well.

  Despite all of this, something about Picross E4 is timeless. People don’t complain Sudoku doesn’t change, they’ll complete the one in the paper day in day out. And that’s what Picross E4 is, more of the same. If you enjoy a light puzzler this collection is for you, but it won’t change your mind about the series if you’ve already decided it’s not your thing.

  Esta entrega es buena, sí, y por variedad es quizá la más lograda de toda la serie, pero le falta ese punto extra de sorpresa, de novedad, que le habría hecho mucho más meritorio y destacado. Por el momento, el consuelo que nos queda es que este es buen juego de puzles con muchas horas de juego, muchos retos por superar y con la capacidad para seguir resultando más que atractivo para todos los aficionados al mundo de los rompecabezas.

  Picross E4 tenta acreditar que todos os jogadores que se interessarem por ele já conhecem as suas anteriores versões e como tal elimina os modos com uma dificuldade mais baixa, mas ao mesmo tempo que o faz elimina também os modos de maior dificuldade, o que é absolutamente incompreensível.

  Essentially, Picross puzzles e4 is a new book that comes add more challenges to the already long list that managed to gain success with a set of well solicitous players to this genre. But it can not say it's transformative issue.

  Wat dat betreft valt Picross e4 toch een beetje tegen. De Micross-puzzels zijn er ten eerste wat weinig, maar kosten ook veel langer om voldoening uit te halen. Of elke puzzelgamer daar zin in heeft, dat is maar de vraag. Juist omdat de moeilijkheidsgraad ook aardig wordt opgeschroefd, is het voor te stellen dat veel gamers die Micross-puzzels dan links laten liggen.
