- PHOGS! is a bright, colourful and highly charming game that will no doubt create a big smile from simply absorbing its cutesy world. The gameplay, unfortunately, can stumble due to its repetition and uneven levels of creativity in terms of puzzles. Still, if you’re looking for an enjoyable co-operative time with two adorable dogs then PHOGS! has you covered.
Ryan Janes · Jan 09, 2021 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - All in all, I do think there’s fun to be had here. Some of the levels are quite creative, and some of the puzzles are quite clever. However, the gameplay is just too slow for me to find much enjoyment from it. If you think it looks fun, I encourage you to download the demo on the eShop and give it a go. As for me, I don’t have any desire to play it again.

If you’re looking for a puzzle game that will cheer you up through hard times, Phogs! will put a smile on your ‘phace’.
Clayton Cyre · Dec 14, 2020 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - The puzzles are generally on the easier side, but there are some that do provide for a bit of a challenge, making the game more suitable to those experienced gamers. With the holiday season upon us, there will likely be ample opportunity to game as a family, and PHOGS! fits the bill nicely.
William Thompson · Dec 10, 2020 Reviewed on PCRead full review - A pleasant mix of gentle puzzling and body horror, PHOGS! is a very good boy.
Luke Kemp · Dec 09, 2020 Reviewed on PCRead full review - It’s a game that can be enjoyed by kids and adults alike, alone or not. You might not end up enjoying its gameplay loop so much, but looking at it and playing it will still make you feel good after a while. And it will also make you want to hug and squeeze your real life puppy after a play session.
Leo Faria · Dec 07, 2020 Reviewed on PS4Read full review - The zaniness of PHOGS!'s character controller combined with its elegant and diverse puzzle design is a recipe for a fun. The game ensures that every second is a new opportunity for friendship-fueled hilarity.
Lawrence Le · Dec 07, 2020 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Phogs is a genuine dose of unbridled joy in a weird, physics-y, dog-tube package. It's hard to play this game without having a huge, goofy smile on your face. The Switch version has some minor to major issues here and there, but it rarely slows down the momentum of the puzzle-solving, dog-wiggling gameplay – this is another brilliant co-op experience for Nintendo's system.
Kate Gray · Dec 05, 2020 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Rowing a boat with Red and Blue controlling a oar each is a cool idea for instance, but making it a vessel that’s sailing through the night sky while a beetle passenger plays a soothing tune on a mandolin? That’s the type of thing you really remember.
Maria Alexander · Dec 03, 2020 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - PHOGS! is as delightful as it is unique and entrancing. While the controls are a little tough to get the feel of for solo-players, teaming “pup” with a friend allows for an experience that, though mostly on the easy side, guarantees the player a thoroughly good time—especially in the boss stages.
