· Oct 21, 2025 Reviewed on Switch 2Read full review - Persona 3 Reload on Switch 2 is a great opportunity to play an incredible game on the go. While there's compromises to the game on more powerful consoles, and it needs a performance patch, my commutes got a lot more interesting having this in my bag.
Nic Bunce · Oct 21, 2025 Reviewed on Switch 2Read full review - Persona 3 Reload is a retouched version of a modern classic, letting newcomers visit an experience that has always been unforgettable. For both longtime fans and newcomers alike, Persona 3 Reload is essential.
NyxAtKnight · Jun 05, 2024 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Persona 3 Reload does much to bring it up to modern sensibilities with a well optimized PC port in most cases, but more could have be done to shake off more of the baggage from the original release. The new menu systems and battle features carried over from more recent titles elevates the game the most and the new voice cast does an admirable job with largely the same script. The pacing still feels held back by the original story design and the main concept of Tartarus, but as a remake of what many consider a PlayStation 2 classic, it is a recommendation for JRPG fans.
Steven Mattern · Apr 21, 2024 Reviewed on PCRead full review - There is a lot to like, and even love about Persona 3, but it’s all buried underneath an incredible amount of tediousness - a very slow start to the story, an insipid amount of busywork and bland grinding in Tartarus, and a fairly unengaging overworld - so it’s tough to say I found myself enjoying it as a first timer. Perhaps it’s unfair to judge an older title by more modern standards, and I’m sure for people who enjoyed the original game, there’s no reason to dislike what’s here. If you're someone who doesn't mind a lot of busy work and a slow start in exchange for an interesting story (particularly the ending), then feel free to ignore everything written previously. However, it’s tough for me personally to view this as anything other than an average experience.
