The game features an extensive roster of playable characters from the One Piece series, including the Straw Hat Pirates and a variety of other allies and foes. The story mode is an exciting retelling of the anime and manga, following the journey of the Straw Hat Pirates through various locations and battles, with additional original content.

The combat system is satisfying and offers a lot of depth, with each character having a unique moveset, special attacks, and combos to use. Players can switch between different characters in real-time to chain together combos and keep the action going. The game also offers large-scale battles with numerous enemies, which are visually impressive and challenging.

The game's graphics are stunning, with a vibrant and colorful visual style that captures the unique look and feel of the One Piece world. The sound design is also excellent, with an impressive soundtrack featuring a mix of original compositions and recognizable themes from the anime and manga.

One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 also features a variety of game modes, including the story mode, which takes several hours to complete, and the treasure log mode, which offers additional missions and battles. The game also has a co-op mode, allowing two players to play together on the same console, which adds to the replay value of the game.

The game is not without its flaws, however. The camera can be a bit unwieldy at times, making it difficult to keep track of the action in some of the larger battles. The game also has a lot of on-screen information and can be overwhelming at first for players new to the series.

Overall, One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 is an exciting and engaging game that offers an excellent action experience for fans of the series and action game enthusiasts alike. The Switch version is particularly noteworthy, offering the ability to play on the go or on the TV, making it a must-have for any One Piece or action game fan.
