- Nobody Saves the World is yet another in a growing list of strong titles from developer Drinkbox Studios. From the world design and characters, to the sounds and combat, there aren’t that many hairs out of place. It’s not perfect by any means.
Cameron Teague · May 04, 2022 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - Despite the repetitive nature of Nobody Saves the World, the lows never outweigh the highs of completing quests, upgrading abilities, and mixing and matching new class combinations. The map size and story length aren’t overly large, so even if it wears out its welcome a bit, it isn’t as egregious as it could have been. Leveling up and crushing waves of enemies never stopped feeling good, even after this Nobody had rolled credits.
Alex Orona · Apr 14, 2022 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Nobody Saves the World is a thrillingly well-paced and enjoyable action adventure that Switch owners won’t want to miss. An addictive quest system, surprisingly deep class system, attractive art style, and punchy combat all come together to make for a varied and engaging experience that oozes quality at every turn.
Mitch Vogel · Apr 14, 2022 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - This is an original idea attached to traditional adventuring fun with all the customisation that comes along with its genre here given a renewed focus. We only wish its dungeons were as well-crafted as its skill trees and visuals, but while there's not enough meat on the bone, what's here is still pretty delicious while it lasts.
Stuart Gipp · Apr 14, 2022 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - Nobody Saves the World is, if not a totally worthy follow-up to Guacamelee!, at least a very admirable and enjoyable effort. It feels right at home on the Nintendo Switch, where its simple graphical style won’t compromise its performance and the player is enabled to take it wherever they want to go while slowly making progress.
Colin Buchanan · Apr 14, 2022 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - The further you progress in Nobody Saves the World, the more absurdity you encounter, and it’s wonderful.
Taoshi · Mar 04, 2022 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Nobody Saves The World is not like the average role-playing game and it’s great that it turned out to be this enjoyable. Especially with its uniqueness. It is not often that you will stumble across a game you can play for many hours, and would still want to play more of it. Nobody Saves The World had exceeded my expectations and deserves praise for the quality of the game.
Junior Onunkwo · Feb 08, 2022 Reviewed on Series X|SRead full review - So I am actually impressed with Nobody Saves the World. Drinkbox Studios have a very fun and interesting graphical design about their games although on first impression they can seem a bit childish when you see the haunting eyes of some of your forms you realise it is for a slightly more mature audience. The way they have handled progression in this game is a breath of fresh air and I look forward to playing this game through to completion.
Graham Cameron · Jan 22, 2022 Reviewed on Series X|SRead full review - Nobody Saves the World has a promise and delivers a solid adventure full of laughs and the dungeon crawling is exciting especially during the harder challenges. The large environmental variety on display with the overworld is amazing to explore is pure eye candy but I just wished the developers provided some reward system to encourage exploring outside from more money.
Grayshadow · Jan 21, 2022 Reviewed on Series X|SRead full review - Nobody Saves the World is a fun game, where the story, the quests, and every other gameplay element are in the service of the character and evolution system. There are no armor or weapons or potions, it all comes down to the forms that work as classes and mix their abilities.
