  You've heard of pitchers in baseball or linemen in football who show up to training camp too fat - usually they get benched or put on a brutal regimen until their overpaid butts can cut it. That's exactly what went down with the hockey game NHL 2K6. The PS2 and Xbox versions that came out in September suffered from all kinds of problems, but the Xbox 360 version (a launch title) makes a solid return to form and even - get this, EA - adds a dazzling, innovative new feature.

  When it all comes down to it, NHL 2K6 is by far the best hockey game on the market, but with the near identical current-gen versions already at bargain bin prices, it's hard to justify forking over the extra cash for moderately improved graphics and a goalie system that still needs tweaking.

  In the end, NHL 2K6 on the Xbox 360 provides an interesting quandary. Every feature found in the other versions of this game is on hand here, and there are even some improvements, like the new goalie control system. But visually this isn't a particularly impressive game--most certainly not for a game launching with a next-gen console.

  If you haven't played either of the existing version of NHL 2K6, have already secured an Xbox 360 for next week, and are the biggest fan of hockey of all time, then you might want to pick this up. Otherwise, you should wait until next year. The graphics in NHL 2K6 are weak compared to what they could have been.

  Très intéressant sur 128 bits, le titre de 2k Sports ne justifie à aucun moment sa différence de prix, bien au contraire. Plusieurs modes de jeu sont passés à la trappe et la réalisation graphique est plus que décevante.
