  NASCAR ’14 will bump away at more casual players’ patience, but fans will have the fortitude to see each full race day through. A steep learning curve means that you’ll need to commit to get anything out of this stock racing experience, but your efforts will definitely be rewarded in time – especially if you’re a fan of real life motorsport.

  The soundtrack is terrible, though, and the engine roars lack oomph. There are also some iffy visual issues that don’t make the game as a whole look bad — just unpolished.

  Ein großer Fortschritt gegenüber ihrem Vorgänger ist die Simulation deshalb nicht. Sie bildet die Essenz des Kreisverkehrs allerdings auch dank des guten Fahrmodells überzeugend ab. Wenn 40 Boliden mit 300 Sachen Tür an Tür über Start und Ziel donnern, sind Fingerspitzengefühl und höchste Konzentration gefragt – Herausforderung und Rennlänge passe ich vor jedem Lauf an meine Bedürfnisse an.

  NASCAR 14 est un pur produit destiné aux fans, et encore... Si vous n'êtes pas un inconditionnel des courses de stock-cars, passez votre chemin, car en plus d'être doté d'une réalisation technique complètement minable, le jeu est tout simplement chiant à jouer. On tourne en rond pendant des heures en essayant de ne pas finir dans le mur, avec son seul volant comme distraction.

  Pas évident de noter ce NASCAR '14. Pour le joueur lambda, qui ne connaît pas cette discipline si particulière, le jeu n'aura probablement aucun intérêt, tant le concept même des courses NASCAR peut paraître absurde. Le fan, par contre, sera ravi. La présence des pilotes, circuits, et véhicules officiels est bien entendu une force qui n'est pas négligeable, surtout qu'à tout cela il faut rajouter un mode Carrière très complet et assez prenant.

  Posto che non ci sono altre novità di rilievo che possano diversificare questa versione del gioco da quella precedente, il saldo finale è purtroppo negativo. NASCAR The Game: 2014 è un titolo completo e adattabile a ogni genere di pilota virtuale, tecnicamente ben fatto e caratterizzato da alcune aggiunte gradite sul fronte multiplayer, ma che non propone novità salienti rispetto alla versione 2013.
