Playtime: ~7 hours

Overall, Muse Dash is an incredibly fun and addictive rhythm game that is sure to keep you entertained for hours on end. It's simple to pick up but difficult to master gameplay mechanics, colorful visuals, and catchy soundtrack make it a must-play for fans of the genre. There are some questionable design decisions but that does not detract from the fact that it is a very enjoyable game experience. I would have also liked  to have seen a bit more variety in terms of genre of music but those that are in the base game are not bad. Seeing what the DLC had to offer left me wanting more though. I was lucky enough to purchase it at a discount of .99 but even at its 2.99 base price point you are still looking at hours of enjoyment. I would definitely recommend you giving it a try.

“Dash”ing and Fun

I got to play muse dash on pc first and the dlcs with more songs to play with are sold separately. It was definitely cheaper cause i didnt feel like needing to buy the dlcs.

The switch on the other hand already includes all the dlc music bundle, obviously comes at a much more higher price but i guess it kinds of worth your money. It's an "i guess" cause i havent tried all of the songs and play wise, pc was much easier to play with. I'm still adjusting on switch.

What i really like about muse dash, either way, as a rythm game is the uncomplicated keys to use when hittjng the notes without sacrificing the difficulty that it also offers. The songs are also good, and i especially like the ones from the "cute bundle pack"

Muse Dash

The only rhythm game that's spoiling me with amazing music and cute characters! The base game itself is a-ok! The DLC is cool but expensive so keep that in mind!

Lovable Characters and Amazing Music!

Muse Dash was one of the first Rhythm games I've ever played, and it's one of my favourites. I first played it on mobile for a few hours, then I continued to play it on pc for hundreds of hours until I got bored.

Muse Dash's Rhythm Machinic is simple: hit a button to make your character hit upwards and another button to hit downwards. Robots or enemies will run to you either from the top or the bottom, and you're supposed to hit them, and if you hit them according to the beat, you'll get “Perfect” and give you more points.

While there are a lot of levels, most of them are locked and only can be unlocked if you were to buy the “Just As Planned” DLC. And most of the good songs are in DLC, which is a shame. I bought it for $25 when it was on sale, and the original price of it was $36 Dollars. I don't think it was worth it, $36 for all the songs and after playing the game for hours on end, i wanted a challenge, a song that it hard and barely any songs on muse dash is hard. Yea, some songs for beginners are hard but after playing it for a few times, it was pretty easy. And that is one thing i didn't like about muse dash, not having "Extremely Hard" Levels for people who played the game for hours on end.

**Characters:** There are different characters with different skills, once you earn enough points in a level, your combo counter will fill up and your skill gets activated. Some characters have different skills. Characters are obtainable by unlocking them by getting enough material. Some characters need that item and you can get that item by levelling up and having the chance to get it.

The music in this game is amazing, dont get me wrong. Even after hearing the same music over and over again, it's still amazing. The levels in this game are quite short, most lasting about a minute. The game can last you for about 10 hours of fun until you're bored or because you got let down because your favourite song is on the DLC.

The game's mechanics, level design and characters are simple. The mechanics are very simple, nothing hard to learn about the game and it's easy fr beginners.

Here's a better description of what i just said: 'Muse Dash is looking to succeed in doing what other games have failed and that’s by making rhythm action simple: there’s no multitude of button layouts to remember or an assault of icons flying around; here you’re asked to press two buttons and yet in regards to the rhythm, nothing is lost. As enemies scroll from right to left across the screen, you’ll need to press either the right D-pad button or the X button, each one corresponding to either an enemy on the top row or the bottom – it couldn’t be simpler. These enemies are colour-coded, too, so blue enemies indicate the D-pad button to be pressed, while pink ones are for X. This means that when the game does mix things up by throwing a blue saw blade on the floor, it’s coloured blue to indicate to jump over it."

I usually don't play rhythm games that much, but this one, this one was a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the simple gameplay that it offers at various difficulties. I have not once got bored while playing a level as all of the songs were entertaining and catchy for me. The base game already offers quite a handful of songs to progress through and with the DLC, it offers over 2 times the original amount of songs which is definitely worth it. A fun rhythm game focused around plenty of upbeat and fast-paced Japanese songs that provide really enjoyable levels.
