- There are little quirks and mechanics in the game that reward the curious player. However, Motorsport Manager does a fantastic job of making the strenuous, tedious job it simulates into something much more enjoyable. It’ll soak up the best part of your afternoon, which might turn off some players. It is not perfect, but is one of the best sports management games out there right now.

It’s easy to use with a very friendly interface accompanied by stylish graphics. As a game, it keeps the minutia under control, allowing you to focus on bigger decisions and the thrill of racing. Plus, it is challenging without being punishing.

Improving your cars but then watching them in the race, planning your pit stops and attempting to plan everything to the second makes for a tense and exciting, experience.

Even if you’re not interested in motorsports, this is totally worth it.

Although there's no doubt that Motorsport Manager is unpredictable, with races sometimes taking a nosedive out of nowhere. While it certainly keeps players on their toes, it can be frustrating.

It offers options for every facet of the sport, and what's more, it does it very well, with all of the choices and outcomes being clearly conveyed. For the gamer, though, there are simply much more engaging strategy and simulation options available. It might make for a great Christmas present for a petrol head, but it's not likely to get anybody else's motor running.

The choices other managers make will differ from Greg's, which is what makes the experience so personalised and fulfilling.

The game crams tons and tons of mid to low-level detail into an accessible, attractive package that should be attractive to casual motorsport fans as well as those who consider themselves to be more serious.
