Mortal Kombat: Onslaught unfortunately leans too heavily on its massive IP and while it should be given credit for trying its hand in a different genre altogether; the result is fatal.

Mortal Kombat: Onslaught’s solid yet largely unremarkable foray into team RPGs feels like a letdown, given how much potential rests within the IP. However, players who stick around will likely do so for the game’s complex character customization and compelling narrative.

Mortal Kombat: Onslaught is a fun and interesting take on the Mortal Kombat universe, with Gacha elements, but offering very few unique elements in the mobile gaming RPG genre.
