Critic Reviews
- Surprisingly Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 works quite well on the PlayStation 5 and is the perfect game for some escapism.
· Dec 18, 2025 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is without a doubt the most ambitious and polished sim on the PS5 – but it’s not without its faults. Slow loading, visual inconsistencies, an underwhelming sound mix, and plenty of bugs pull this otherwise exceptional experience back down to earth.
Sammy Barker · Dec 08, 2025 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - GREAT Despite a compromised controller and patchy console polish, moments of transcendent wonder keep Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 aloft on PS5.
Stuart Glover · Dec 04, 2025 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 was released last November for PC and Xbox and now it arrives on the PlayStation 5.
Andrea Giongiani · Dec 18, 2024 Reviewed on PCRead full review - The move to a cloud-focused game has caused some turbulence on takeoff, and it would be good to be able to decouple from that decision with an “install-all” option, but Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 elevates the game in just about every other way. It'd just be nice if it did it more cleanly. That said, if you have even a passing interest in flight, this simulator is still the best out there.
Diego Borges de Sa · Dec 10, 2024 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is the best title in the franchise and provides a non-intimidating onboard ramp to the simulator franchise, but game crashes and performance issues can be frustrating.
Philip Watson · Dec 09, 2024 Reviewed on Series X|SRead full review - It might not have quite the same wow factor second time around, but Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 builds on its astonishing predecessor with intelligence and precision - making an already impressive achievement richer and more welcoming.
