  Metro Awakening je po nejakej dobe konečne ďalší z dôvodov, aby ste vytiahli VR headset zo skrine, oprášili ho a niečo si zahrali. Toto je hra, ktorú si užijete vďaka jej veľmi dobrej atmosfére a slušnému príbehu, ktorý má ale dosť rozhádzaný naratív a občas je ťažké ho sledovať. Akcia tiež nie je zlá, ale vhodne kombinuje aj ďalšie prvky, aby vás neomrzela. Bohužiaľ to dole ťahajú niektoré nedotiahnuté a nevyladené aspekty a najviac si hru užijú hráči, ktorí dobre poznajú pôvodnú metro trilógiu. Aj tak ale zatiaľ ide o jednu z tých najlepších VR hier roka.

  Metro Awakening is a solid VR title and a fantastic addition to the Metro series. As a fan of both the Metro books and games, being immersed in the world so completely was always an exciting prospect, and Vertigo did not disappoint. The Arizona Sunshine dev has created a highly detailed and almost palpable VR version of Glukhovsky’s doomed transit-system-come-fallout-shelter that is as compelling as it is terrifying. If you’re hankering for more Metro or simply looking for your next PSVR2 fix I can heartily recommend Metro Awakening.

  Vertigo Games have perfectly captured the essence of a Metro game with Metro Awakening. The more humble yet engrossing story telling is met with some painfully slow moments that bog down what is otherwise a great shooter set in Russia's nuclear fallout.

  Malgré notre doléance arachnéenne, Metro Awakening reste un excellent titre VR, ayant parfaitement compris que l’immersion est la force majeure du support. La révérence pour les œuvres originales (jeux comme livres) se ressent tout le long du périple surnaturel de Serdar et nous fait espérer que peut-être, la licence aura droit à un second souffle un de ces quatre.

  Pur affondando le radici in un impianto ludico di valore, sostenuto da un comparto tecnico convincente, Metro Awakening fatica a conservare lo slancio iniziale fra le numerose tappe di un’avventura che, in assenza di variazioni degne di nota, risulta più lunga del dovuto e - soprattutto nelle ultime ore - alquanto ripetitiva. Vertigo Games ha fatto un buon lavoro nell’adattare le atmosfere e i caratteri della post apocalisse di 4A Games alla cornice interattiva della realtà virtuale, senza però riuscire a comporre un’offerta pienamente bilanciata e appagante. Metro Awakening resta comunque un prodotto valevole, che però fatica a competere con le migliori esperienze su PSVR2.

  Metro Awakening é um belíssimo salto geracional para o PlayStation VR e é a prova de que essa tecnologia pode ir muito além. Ele tem um impacto semelhante ao de Gran Turismo 7, Resident Evil e No Man’s Sky, com um universo de ponta apresentado sob ótica RV. Sua campanha com quase 10h de duração traz uma experiência equilibrada entre terror, ação, furtividade e aventura. Já sua história é bastante intrigante e se aproveita de ótimos efeitos de cenário e dublagens para se desenrolar no universo de Metro.

  Una nueva y absorbente entrega de Metro diseñada para la realidad virtual que nos ofrece una aventura muy inmersiva, con una buena historia y que hace un gran uso de las posibilidades de estos dispositivos para crear una jugabilidad muy satisfactoria.

  Metro Awakening aveva tutte le carte in regola per essere una killer application nel panorama VR tra atmosfere cupe, meccaniche immersive e una sceneggiatura co-firmata dal creatore della serie, Dmitry Glukhovsky. Tuttavia, la ripetitività degli scenari, il ritmo disomogeneo e un bilanciamento della difficoltà non sempre ideale hanno finito col minare l’esperienza complessiva e, seppur coinvolgente nelle prime ore e non privo di momenti riusciti, il gioco si appiattisce sul finale trascinandosi fin troppo stancamente verso i titoli di coda.

  Metro Awakening is a wholly new and unique Metro game that nails its predecessors' atmosphere, narrative elements, and tense combat. It's one of the strongest VR games out there, and I'd go so far as to say it's the optimal way to experience the Metro universe in videogame form, even if performance woes and bugs hold it back on Meta Quest 3.

  There's a good VR game in Metro Awakening at times, but it feels pulled between its pleasing core combat and narrative ambitions it lacks the gameplay vocabulary to fully articulate. The lack of overall variety, and increased leaning on expositional filling over time, means that while it starts strong its impact fades with continued play.
