  Ultimately, Madden NFL 25 can officially claim the crown as the most authentic Madden game of all time. It's like EA Orlando has taken the already incredible gameplay, visuals, animations, and more of last year's game, placed them on the surgery table, and given them a major facelift. However, despite some of the impressive additions that were made regarding the content, you might get the impression that having much more would've sufficed. Nonetheless, Madden NFL 25 is definitely a must-have.

  Madden NFL 15 is an excellent return to form for the series. Yes, it’s still plagued by legacy issues, but the leaps taken on defence, coupled with the spiffy new graphics and excellent gameplay, make this an essential purchase for longstanding fans and a great starting point for players looking to jump on board.

  Not to mention those painfully long load times and other glitches that continue to plague the game on the Xbox 360 are gone. If you own Madden 25 on current generation systems, you could wait until next year but that could also be a mistake as Madden 25 on the Xbox One feels like a considerable leap over the current generation game. It may be the biggest leap we have seen in the franchise yet.

  It's essentially a crowd-sourced defensive coordinator, and it works remarkably well. It's the one thing anywhere in Madden NFL 25--on any console generation--that genuinely impressed me across the board. By itself, CoachGlass isn't quite enough to recommend buying Madden NFL 25 on the Xbox One if you already have it on another platform, but it's a nice addition that I expect will be even better fleshed out in next year's installment.

  While the announcing for the game is pretty much the same, the in-game atmosphere is hands down the best it has ever been in a Madden title. ...This adds a lot to the overall feeling in the stadiums as you are playing it, and just immerses gamers that much more. Madden NFL 25 for the PlayStation 4 is the definitive version of Madden this year by far, so, if you are a football fan, it is a must have for the PS4. The improved graphics, gameplay, physics, and atmosphere make it one of the best Madden titles to date.

  Madden NFL 25 offers football fanatics the chance to get up close and personal with their beloved pastime. The PS4's social features give you the tools to share your greatest moments, and the platform’s supercharged hardware results in some highly realistic presentation. Occasionally aggravating controls and careless AI aside, the action is largely slick and intense – although some out of place commentary and server issues let the experience down.

  The Ignite Engine is a wonderful addition, and the run game is better than ever, in terms of realism, but the change in focus from an almost arcade-like Madden 25 on PS3 to a gridiron, traditional Madden 25 on PS4 might be off-putting. Be warned that the next generation of Madden still has its traditional issues, but the issues are outweighed by a long-needed change in the running game.

  Outside of instant replays, Madden NFL 25 won't impress the average player on PlayStation 4, as the game's normal play mode doesn't always show off the next-generation graphics. Improved physics and player AI change how the game is played on a fundamental level, making it more realistic, so veteran players will need a period of adjustment. Unlike previous console launch versions of Madden, Madden NFL 25 on PS4 keeps all the extra modes you've come to expect from the series.
