  • Το Life is Strange: Double Exposure συνδυάζει το συναίσθημα του True Colors με το μυστήριο του αρχικού τίτλου, αλλά δεν φτάνει την επίδραση του πρώτου παιχνιδιού.

  • Double Exposure donosi nostalgičan povratak u svet prvog Life is Strange-a, ali mu nedostaje dubina i emocionalna povezanost koje su original učinile posebnim.

  • While Double Exposure probably isn’t the best entry point into Life Is Strange, it speaks volumes that it piqued our interest enough that we want to give the original game a try at least. The series isn’t the most challenging when it comes to puzzle solving, but the gorgeous atmospheric visuals, expressive cast, and beautiful soundtrack allowed us to immerse ourselves into the game, even if we undoubtedly were missing a lot of key information. Fans of the first game in particular will certainly know what to expect in terms of gameplay and will likely be happy to be reunited with Max.

  • Life is Strange: Double Exposure is a good story, full of interesting characters and nostalgic callbacks to the game that started the franchise. While this continuation of Max Caulfield’s story doesn’t hit quite the same way as the original, it’s still worth experiencing and should satisfy fans.

  • An initially wonderful return to Max Caufield comes entirely undone with competing narrative priorities and nonsensical attempts to build Life is Strange into a cinematic franchise. Despite the game’s stunning animation work and sincere queer writing, Double Exposure is an overexposed mess.

  • Life is Strange: Double Exposure Review delivers a supernatural thriller in all the right ways, keeping you guessing right until the end. To add fan-favorite Max Caulfield in a thoughtful way is just the cherry on top.

  • Life Is Strange: Double Exposure reels players in with its compelling plot and thrilling twists, only to fall from grace right at the end just when things are starting to get good.

  • The gameplay itself and choices made to affect the branching storyline are a little too subtle and rarely taxing. It’s really there to aid the storytelling and build out the lore, like an interactive movie. As such there can be long stretches where the story slows or gets bogged down and it feels a little chore-like to keep grinding on.
