- I’ve always been a staunch supporter of the idea that a game doesn’t always need to break new ground in order to be good so I won’t say that Juju is in any way a bad game. I just wish it had something to it that really made it stand out from the impressive list of amazing games it so clearly borrowed from.
Shawn Petraschuk · Jan 15, 2015 Reviewed on X360Read full review - While Juju blatantly borrows from the best in the biz, it's impressive how high the quality is in this indie adventure. By no means is it perfect or revolutionary, but what's here is highly enjoyable, easily recommendable, and darn good-looking. Because the entire game can be played in two-player co-op, and because there are difficulty options welcoming of all skill levels, Juju is a great purchase for kids and families that like to play together. It's one of the season's biggest downloadable surprises.
Dave Letcavage · Dec 23, 2014 Reviewed on X360Read full review - I hate to make it seem like I absolutely despise JUJU. That’s not the case at all. This is a cheap game that will entertain those who play it as long as they maintain the right mindset. My issue is that the developers were trying to create a platformer easy enough for a new player while fun enough for a vet to stay involved. This was a game I thought would be great for coop with a youngster.
Joey Davidson · Dec 11, 2014 Reviewed on PS3Read full review - With Juju, the developers at Flying Wild Hog have cobbled together a charming adventure that never surpasses its inspiration but still manages to provide a generally inoffensive romp through gorgeous fantasy worlds. Unfortunate difficulty spikes may keep some youngsters at bay, and the repetition is discouraging regardless of your age, but there's still some innate appeal to this cute and competent platformer, which gets the job done with minimal fuss.
