  • It’s a clever little romp to play around for a few hours, and it’s a fine way to spend a couple of days trekking through dungeons and finding new cards and pieces of paper.

  • Ittle Dew is a top-class puzzle-adventure title that Zelda fans will absolutely adore. Even if you're not a Hyrule aficionado, there's enough wit and charm (and one of our favourite soundtracks in the entire Wii U library) to make it appealing to players from all walks of life. Unfortunately, the combat mechanic is sub-par, and most egregiously the game is full of technical issues.

  • It might have the veneer of a Zelda game, but none of the depth. The puzzles are tricky but the combat isn't, and the bugs are hard to overlook. My advice: Put that money toward A Link Between Worlds instead.

  • If the ingredients weren't enough, the presentation is one of its strongest points. Ittle Dew features excellent artwork and a well-matched background music. Sure, Ittle Dew is worth your time and money.

  • Control issues aside, Ittle Dew is a pretty great little puzzle adventure. The pacing is great, the puzzles are challenging without going too far off the deep end, and every little bit of it is oozing with quirky charm. It's a shame it doesn't do service to the action side of Zelda as well as it does to the puzzle side, but the emphasis on puzzles in the design shows the developers are aware of where the game's strengths lie. It may not be quite up to the lofty standards of its inspiration, but for fans of adventure games... read the name of the game.

  • Ittle Dew the game is much like Ittle Dew the protagonist: bright, colorful, and ingeniously irreverent, with a skip in its step and an endearing twinkle in its eye. Even if the bravest thing you’ve ever done was check inside that unlabeled container lurking at the back of the fridge, even if you’ve never solved even the most basic word search puzzle, Ittle Dew will still welcome you with a wink and a grin.

  • The plot is minimal, with much of the game’s backstory filled in only during the end credits, but the quality and charm of Ittle Dew‘s puzzles and characters will leave you wanting more.

  • A puzzle-rich adventure title that’s brimming with charm, Ittle Dew offers a solid experience and plenty of amusement, thanks to its quirkiness, challenging combat, and interesting puzzles. With varying difficulty for all ages, it’s a must have for adventure fans.

  • Ittle Dew is a lovely, endearing title that will undoubtedly appeal to Zelda fans thanks to its birds-eye view and heavy focus on item-based puzzles. The bothersome combat remains unchanged from the Wii U version, which is a shame, but the game is technically much more impressive on Switch. If you're after something to keep you busy for a while while you wait for the next big Zelda title, this is the one to go for.

  • For fans of games in The Legend of Zelda series, Ittle Dew offers plenty of puzzles and replayability to scratch that Zelda itch. The combat system may be sub-par, but that shouldn't put people off as it's only a minor gameplay element, with puzzles being the stronger focus here.
