The day you decide to take life into your own hands, fate interferes. You leave the orphanage you grew up in to live in a grand castle that was left as your inheritance, learning shocking revelations regarding your true heritage. A mysterious family heirloom reveals that you are the descendent of Count Ventrue, the first vampire ever created. How are vampires living undetected in society? Why do you seem to be a magnet for mysterious attacks? Can the peace between humans and supernatural creatures be maintained? When four mysterious men enter your life, you must find a way to awaken the power in your veins to grow from a scared, helpless girl into your birthright as Queen of the Vampires.
