- In essence, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered offers almost exactly the same experience as the original 2017 release, albeit with so much visual polish making it a proper next-gen title. If you already own the game and are planning on replaying it, then we can say that it’s worth the $10 upgrade for PlayStation 5. If you’ve been on the fence for some time and you’ve been wondering if you should experience Aloy’s adventure for yourself, then it’s another easy recommendation to simply pick up the Remastered version. Keep in mind that the game is still priced the same as a new triple-A release, however. Last but not least, if you’re content with your first playthrough several years ago, then the Remastered edition probably won’t bring anything new to the table for you. While this remaster wasn’t exactly that high on our personal wishlist, we still enjoyed every minute of it, and it’s a remaster done right.

Deze Remaster brengt visuele updates een aantal technische handigheidjes en verbeteringen en haalt een aantal onhebbelijkheden weg die de game technisch in de buurt van Forbidden West brengen.

For anyone who missed it, the Remastered edition is definitely the version to pick up. For those who already own it, the upgrade to Remastered is a reasonable $10 and at least on PS5, PS4 cloud saves work just fine. If the new and improved visuals inspire folks to play the game, or play it again, that’s a win for everyone.

The update brings many visual enhancements, improves environments, and creates better character interactions. It brings a great game up to PlayStation 5 standards and helps bridge the gap between the original and the sequel.

Για όσους και όσες δεν έχουν παίξει μέχρι σήμερα τον τίτλο, η Remastered έκδοση είναι μονόδρομος.

Il risultato però è notevole e permette di (ri)scoprire un gioco di precedente generazione con un abbellimento grafico generale di tutto rispetto, soprattutto a livello di texture, espressioni facciali e illuminazione. Rimane il rimpianto per l'assenza di qualsiasi innovazione nella struttura di gioco e nel gameplay, ma visto che non siamo di fronte a un remake non potevamo nemmeno aspettarci altrimenti.
