- Overall, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix+ for PC is a really great addition to your Steam library. But with the lack of video options, it’s hard to justify it if you already have it on the Nintendo Switch. With its decent price tag, it’s easy to justify the double-dip for a quick couple of songs while waiting for the crew to get on, or for just a real quick few songs to wind down from a rough night.
Joseph O'Rick · Jun 15, 2022 Reviewed on PCRead full review - For long-time fans of Miku, those who just want to dive into their favorite songs and challenge themselves, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix+ is a dream. The pure variety of songs available and the series’ trademark gameplay will keep them busy for a long time, and that’s not even accounting for the options that the series being available on PC will provide to the community.
Andrew Thornton · Jun 06, 2022 Reviewed on PCRead full review - It’s a great rhythm title with a shocking amount of content, both in terms of cosmetics and songs of all genres. I also did not expect for it to be that challenging. Sure, a bit of its difficulty stemmed from the sheer amount of visual noise onscreen, but its gameplay did not pull any punches. It’s really challenging, and that’s what I liked the most from it.
Leo Faria · Jun 01, 2022 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Longtime fans of Vocaloid music will likely enjoy Hatsune Miku Project Diva Mega Mix+ for its nostalgic song list and updated character models, but this game isn't a good choice for casual PC gamers. Those without a good Steam Controller option and powerful hardware will want to skip the title and wait for a possible console release at a future date or try the original version on the Nintendo Switch instead.
Laura Gray · May 27, 2022 Reviewed on PCRead full review - There's a ton of content here, built upon a strong rhythm-game foundation that challenges you to grow your skills and aim ever higher--all while having fun watching music videos, playing dress-up, and collecting all the cool and wacky customizations for the entire cast. But most importantly, Megamix+ is the best showcase of Miku's legacy to date, showcasing the unbridled creativity and variety of the online musical and artistic subcultures she's inspired.
Heidi Kemps · May 26, 2022 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Despite its limited progression and simplistic gameplay, there’s no doubt that Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix+ is a good game. It isn’t overly ambitious, but it doesn’t necessarily need to be. You get cute Vocaloids, a colossal tracklist, lots of cosmetics, and some fun rhythm action.
Kurt Perry · May 26, 2022 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Hatsune Miku Project Diva Megamix+ is the perfect introduction to the series for PC. It’s easily accessible to newcomers and more experienced players alike and offers an extensive catalog of songs and customisation items that will keep you busy for hours. The joy of arcade games like this is that they’re easy to pick up and play whenever the feeling takes you.
Meg Pelliccio · May 26, 2022 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Hatsune Miku Project Diva Megamix+ is the definitive Miku experience. This version will likely have it all, and with a launch playlist of 250 tracks, I think it’s a must-own for those who skipped the Switch release.
Azario Lopez · May 26, 2022 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix is a strong portable version of a truly joyous rhythm game which loses out a little in terms of track numbers in comparison to the likes of series stablemate Future Tone, but makes up for this with a surprisingly solid Switch-exclusive motion control mode alongside touchscreen controls and a new art style that helps keep things running smoothly as you blast your way through its eclectic mix of excellent music.
PJ O'Reilly · May 23, 2020 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Like its predecessor, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix is astounding. The music remains catchy across all of the genres it tackles, and while the playfield can be busy almost all of the time, the mechanics will place you in a trance once you get into the groove. The more straightforward arcade approach works very nicely, and the alternate control methods do well as far as easing players into the manic rhythm action.
