- Gunfire Reborn’s gunplay gets a little stale and inconsistent after a while, and the roguelike structure doesn’t reach its full potential due to the extreme similarities between each run. At the same time, while it can be frustrating to die without warning, there’s a lot of fun to be had.

The controls feel fantastic, the character and build variety is top-tier, and as someone who adores roguelikes/lites, it had everything I was looking for.

I'd even go as far to say it's now my go-to cooperative game. The game is still enjoyable as-is playing solo, but the long upgrade treadmill and somewhat generic look and feel can make the single player experience feel a bit dull by comparison.

There is a lot of potential for this title to expand and the developers are actively looking for more feedback to improve the title. I was very skeptical of the title, but after watching others play it, I felt the need to try it for myself. It was a quick grab, which instantly sucked me into 3 hours of straight play to see how far I could get. It took about 3 days to finally beat the normal mode, which required that I really start to understand the games mechanics.

However, you have to really like repetitive gameplay or roguelites; otherwise, you’ll do your head in after the eleventh attempt on the first stage.

E poi c’è la possibilità di divertirsi in co-op. In presenza di un comparto narrativo di spessore si sarebbe forse potuto anche parlare di capolavoro, ma anche così Gunfire Reborn è un titolo che perlomeno gli amanti degli FPS non dovrebbero lasciarsi scappare.
Matteo Merlano · Nov 01, 2022 Reviewed on Series X|S, XB1Read full review - Divertente in singolo e favoloso in compagnia, Gunfire Reborn è uno sparatutto roguelite adrenalinico, frenetico (se non siete abbonati a Game Pass, c’è da dire che il costo di acquisto del prodotto è comunque piuttosto basso) e capace di regalare ore e ore di sane e spensierate sparatorie. Al solido gunplay, Duoyi Network ha aggiunto una componente RPG ben stratificata e in grado di rendere unica e al cardiopalma ogni sessione di gioco.
