Critic Reviews
- Global Agenda faces an uphill battle toward success. No one seems to have heard of it, and thosewho have don't know exactly what it is. It's terribly user unfriendly to get into, and it balances on a weird fence between shooter and RPG. We're having a great time playing it, but we don't know how many will feel the same.
Matthew Keast · Jun 24, 2012 Reviewed on PCRead full review - It demands tens of hours of dull, low-level play to access and enjoy the more exciting content. And even that content is not consistently enjoyable. While Global Agenda does offer a distinct breed of action in the world of massively multiplayer online games, its hectic combat is hidden beneath layers and layers of drudgery that only sincerely dedicated players are likely to enjoy.
Chris Watters · Mar 30, 2010 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Global Agenda hits the top notes in many areas. The crisp graphics and fast paced, high intensity team-based combat are definitely the game's strongest points. Both PvP and PvE game play are equally fine and the AI of mobs in high difficulty PvE missions is admirable.
Carolyn Koh · Mar 12, 2010 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Global Agenda isn't an excellent game, but there is a lot of co-op and competitive fun to be had. In fact, the overwhelming vibe from current players is quite upbeat. Still, there's not enough content included with its purchase to keep you playing for months on end; you'll have to pony up the monthly fee for the Conquest mode to get any lasting appeal.
Jonathan Marx · Feb 01, 2010 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Through all its faults, Global Agenda: Sandstorm is still worth checking out. It’s a slow-burner, but after a few dozen hours of play you’ll be blasting with the best of them, going off on raids with friends and modding your weapons to be ridiculously powerful. Hopefully Hi-Rez Studios will add even more expansions in the future, as a bit of extra content would do this game wonders.
Mike Rose · Sep 09, 2010 Reviewed on PCRead full review - I played Planetside for a year because I was so inspired by what it tried to do, and because its problems tended to arise from it being huge and daring at any cost. This? It barely has any problems beyond its averageness. And that's a much, much harder thing to get behind.
