Unlike other popular Multiplayer Online Battle Arenas, Everforge is not about controlling lanes and destroying enemy structures. In the co-op PVE Horde mode, teams of up to three players fight for survival as they fend off unrelenting waves of enemies. In the PVP Raid mode, four teams of three players fight their way around the map and try to become the first team powerful enough to defeat the final boss. In both the Horde and Raid modes, you'll find chests that present you with Gear Sets, Artifact Abilities and Perks to choose from. There are endless possibilities for how you can build your character each match. As you choose your loot and upgrades, you'll need to think on your feet to build your class and become as powerful as you can, as quickly as possible. KEY FEATURES:

Choose from several unlockable classes at launch.

Loot powerful Gear Sets to activate game-changing passive effects.

Equip Artifacts to gain new abilities.

Upgrade and customize your abilities with Perks to fit your playstyle.

Unlock permanent PVE-only upgrades in Horde mode.

Outplay enemy teams in the PVP Raid mode, starting fresh each round.

BUSINESS MODEL: Gates of Everforge will be free-to-play. However, improving this game to its fullest potential, growing the player base and providing stable dedicated multiplayer servers will require a significant amount of revenue. In order to make Gates of Everforge into the best game possible, it will be monetized the same way as other popular MOBAs. Players will be able to use real money to buy playable character classes, in-game cosmetics and season passes. 100% of the proceeds generated by Gates of Everforge will be reinvested into Thousand Hour Games. Every dollar you spend in Everforge will go towards improving it. COMMITTED INDIE DEVELOPERS: Gates of Everforge is the self-funded passion project of a small but ruthlessly dedicated indie team at Thousand Hour Games. We are a team of gamers from around the world who decided to make the game that we dream of playing. You may recognize that some our art assets - including our character models - are from the Unreal Engine Marketplace. Despite the fact that the visual appearance of our characters may appear in other indie games, our classes and characters are programmed with 100% unique spells and abilities. Everforge's core gameplay is very different from other games that you may see using the same art assets. We are proud of what the UE Marketplace has enabled our small team to accomplish. A competitive multiplayer game of this scale would not have been possible for our small team without it. We have been working on Everforge since early 2020, and with support from our players we will be able continue to improve it in the future. We want our community to feel confident in knowing that we intend to improve this game for years to come.
