  • Fury Unleashed is a fast-paced single-player and co-op roguelike action platformer that is played on the pages of a comic book about a fearless hero brutally dismembering hordes of enemies using a wide variety of ranged and melee weapons.

  • Fury Unleashed does a fantastic job of delivering quick, high-octane roguelite action that feels varied, deep, and manageable on a touch screen. It may not be the most original kind of game out there, nor will it necessarily push your skills to their limits, but it is a bloody good time nonetheless.

  • Fury Unleashed is an amazing Roguelike, and it does a great job on the art style. I had no issues with Fury Unleashed, but I wanted more things related to the Story. For example, the Story doesn’t hold much weight. It’s nothing amazing, but it’s not bad either I hope they improve the lore and the Story of Fury Unleashed whenever they make a sequel to it. I would love to see a sequel because I adored the gameplay of Fury Unleashed

  • All in all, Fury Unleashed provided me with several entertaining afternoons and also brought me back to the past. It’s very fun, hard to play well, and the randomness of the levels was a treat for those looking for a challenge.

  • Though not as expansive as some other bigger titles, Fury Unleashed is a superb little number that compels you to stay sharp and always attack. Do that, and the rewards mount up.

  • Like Dead Cells before it, Fury Unleashed is one of those roguelikes that is hard to put down, as you know the next run will only give you a better shot making more progress to unlock new comics, gear, and ultimately a better chance at taking down the final boss. It’s a hell of a lot of fun, whether you’re playing solo or co-op.

  • Fury Unleashed manages to bring some fun combat and exploration to the rogue like genre that, even when a run fails, feels rewarding. A well-executed upgrade system, as well as plentiful loot found along the way, means that it’s rare to not find something new to play with, or a new tactic to use on each go. The comic styling works well too, though the music could’ve been a bit more impactful; a small knock on an otherwise brilliant title.

  • Fury Unleashed is a great Roguelite experience that also offers beginners a chance at beating the game. While the latter will disable many trophies, you’ll still be able to enjoy the experience that makes this a very interesting and action-packed game. You’ll be treated to a great randomized experience, with a sense of progression and an arsenal of weapons to mess around with. If you like the genre, and are looking for something that plays smoothly and looks rather awesome, this game is available at a very fair price for its content.

  • Nonetheless, every time I returned to Fury Unleashed I found myself enjoying what I played. It’s maybe not something that sucked me in and kept me glued to the screen until the end, but it entertained whenever I gave it a chance. For its price, it’s a worthwhile diversion. I just wouldn’t be surprised if nothing inside you gets unleashed.

  • Its biggest problem then is that it's over all too quickly. Of course, rogue-lites are designed to be replayed over and over again. However, with just four comic books to work through, you'll see everything Fury Unleashed has to offer much quicker than you might expect. Boss fights are randomised, but the action in between feels wholly similar. As such, it makes for a quick-fire burst of enjoyment that, on the whole, puts a smile on your face every step of the way. Just don't expect Fury Unleashed to entice you into coming back for more.
