- It's fitting that Flock wants to treat players like its plethora of creatures: softly wooing you to stay as long as you wish. Sure, it still utilizes basic design principles: the wonder of what's hiding beneath the clouds, frilly cosmetics to alter your style, and an engaging collect-a-thon system wedded to the main objective; however, you never feel confined by them. That description may seem too abstract and imperceptible in writing, but that warmth within its design is immediately felt with a controller in hand. Sometimes that relaxed vibe could've been more substantive in its quest structure, but leaning too far would've diminished its unique identity. For whatever creative or technical missteps, virtually anyone who Flock Tuahs Richard Hogg & Hollow Ponds' latest is sure to enjoy it.

Juan Salas · Aug 07, 2024 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Flock is a comfort blanket of a game. Its simplicity isn’t for everyone but it’s hard to deny its charm. If you’re looking for something cozy to kick back with at the end of a long day, Flock is exactly what you need.
Leigh Price · Jul 25, 2024 Reviewed on PS5Read full review - I feel like more than other games of its kind, Flock rewards those with a scrupulous attention for detail. It’s, of course, a joy to charm and herd these strange critters courtesy of the model, flow state brand of flying. However, a lust for discovery is essential to harvest from these uplands as much delight as a shepherd can handle.
Brodie Gibbons · Jul 25, 2024 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Consider Flock like the finest of fine wines: enjoyed best with a group of friends having a chat, taken at your own pace, not rushed through! Minor bug-bears aside, especially with the inconsistent catching mini-game, what has been produced here is in the upper-echelon of cosy games. And coming in at about four hours to see the story out, with probably another couple hours for completionists, what better way is there to spend a few evenings than by catching flying courgettes?
FIN · Jul 23, 2024 Reviewed on Series X|SRead full review - Flock from developer Hollow Ponds is a unique, relaxing, and fun adventure that doesn’t require too much effort to enjoy. The game is slanted towards discovery and environmental positivity through simplistic controls that allow the player to focus on finding and identifying animals while traversing a large landscape. The only bump in the road is the occasional feeling of a lack of content.
Nathaniel Stevens · Jul 19, 2024 Reviewed on PCRead full review - From the audio design right down to the creatures themselves, Flock, from developers Hollow Ponds and Richard Hogg is oozing with charm. Learn to leverage your powers of observation to document dozens of strange and vibrant species that call the Uplands home. A bare-bones narrative pushes the player to explore further without getting in the way of a joyful experience. I already know this will be a cozy world to return to again and again over the coming years to see how my flock is doing.
Matt Buckley · Jul 17, 2024 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Flock is a relaxing game about taming creatures in a colorful open environment. With strong colorful aesthetics and excellent sound design, it's easy to see the appeal here. The exploration is superb, though the mechanics involved in charming creatures could've been more engaging. If you love games like Pokemon Snap or even Katamari Damacy, Flock will be up your alley.
Matthew Carmosino · Jul 16, 2024 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Flock is a delightful game that celebrates the joy of flight and discovery, but it doesn’t quite soar to the greatest heights. Its charming narrative, relaxing gameplay, and vibrant style make it a pleasure to play. The whimsical world and serene flying are noteworthy, yet they are occasionally overshadowed by moments of monotonous exploration and occasional gameplay lulls.
Omi Koulas · Jul 16, 2024 Reviewed on PCRead full review - A delightful creature-collecting zen ‘em up, Flock’s charming vibe and flowy movement is a perfect weekend game.

About the game
Trailers & Screenshots:
Flock is a multiplayer co-op game where players take on the role of flying shepherds, each tending to their own unique herd of adorable flying creatures.
The game is an ode to the joy of flight and discovery. Starting with a small herd of hover-sheep, you nurture and fly them toward fresh, untouched pastures. Along the way, you will discover the secrets of the beautiful uplands and its wild creatures.
Weird flying creatures. Are they fish? Birds? Snakes? It’s a real mystery. They are mostly friendly though, and with a bit of skill you can charm them to join your flock.
As your flock grows and your sheep get woolier, you can use the wool you shear from them for hats, cardigans, even socks!
Will you find all the creatures? Even the super rare and elusive ones? Will you keep them to yourself or share them with your friends? Will you knit the longest scarf ever seen? Will you find the fabled Golden Bewl?
