  When you consider it’s a completely free mod rather than an official game, Fallout London is extremely impressive. It’s a massive RPG worthy of the Fallout moniker, and the way it uses its titular city to shake up the series’ US-centric formula is extremely effective and refreshingly novel. The twists and turns of the main story are compelling, aside from when you’re sent off on unrelated busywork, and going off the beaten path to adventure with companions is as fun here as it is in any modern open-world Bethesda game. However, installing this mod is a technical undertaking you need to be prepared for, and even when you’re successful it comes with more than its fair share of bugs and crashes. But of course, it’s all worth it: If you have the mettle to overcome those challenges – and the occasional obtuse mission design – there is a lot of fun to be had in Ol’ Blighty.

  La parte migliore di Fallout: London è che probabilmente è più di ciò che doveva essere. Gli sviluppatori si sono prodigati per realizzare la migliore esperienza possibile, con le risorse a loro disposizione, tanto che ne è venuto fuori un piccolo gioiello che merita di essere giocato da tutti gli appassionati della serie Fallout e non solo, considerando che è gratuito. Per inciso: Londra è ben ricostruita, la parte ruolistica è curata e l'avventura è davvero intrigante, qualche ingenuità a parte. Insomma, che fate ancora qui?

  The level of patience you possess will be a big factor in whether you enjoy what Fallout London offers right now. I’m generally more willing to be forgiving of buggy games - or mods, in this case - if I can see the developers have tried to push boundaries and create something ambitious. Right now, it’s a really cool castle built on sand, but if you can keep it from falling into the CTD sea, you’ll come to enjoy it. Or, if you put it into your backlog list to play once the fixes arrive, you’ll do the same, eventually.

  So I can conclude by saying that if you're even a little bit of a Fallout fan, this mod is a must try. It's completely free and offers a fantastic take on what Fallout could be like outside the US Wasteland. It's an impressive project that provides hundreds of hours of Fallout entertainment, retaining Bethesda's game design but improving it almost universally. Well, enough of that - I need to go back and see if I can find the Tower of London and see if the Crown Jewels are there, and if they are, steal them.

  Fallout: London błyszczy wszędzie tam, gdzie poległ Fallout 4. Mod jest bardziej erpegowy od „czwórki” i zabiera nas w znacznie mroczniejsze od niej klimaty kojarzące się z pierwszymi Falloutami. Dzieło Team Folon pokazuje też, że ograniczanie serii tylko do USA po prostu nie ma już sensu.
