  Enotria The Last Song sera peut-être comme un bon vin (italien) et se bonifiera avec le temps, mais quand et jusqu'à quel point ? On ne lit pas l'avenir et on ne peut que statuer sur l’état actuel du jeu. Jyamma Games offre ainsi un souls-like à la direction artistique originale, de même que son univers, mais qui sont tous les deux clairement sous-exploités. Il y a également de bonnes idées, mais brinquebalantes. À budget similaire, le titre souffre de la comparaison avec d’autres softs du genre et déçoit notamment au niveau des boss ou de la musique. Un sous-like original mais très décevant.

  Enotria: The Last Song’s stacks of gameplay systems and offbeat terminology make for a fairly convoluted soulslike experience. However, it brings some cool ideas to the table when it comes to combat and traversal. That, and it’s a simply gorgeous world set against a backdrop of Italian folklore, makes for an incredibly compelling experience. The relatively short length compared to most soulslikes also makes it a digestible game that's worth playing at least once.

  Ultimately, my time with Enotria: The Last Song was fantastic. The unconventional Italian theming swept me off my feet, and the gameplay was pleasantly familiar, yet offered enough differences and new ideas to let it stand on its own. If any Souls fans are looking for something to lighten up the dark autumn days that lie ahead, they should consider this summery theatrical adventure their remedy.

  There’s a lot of soulslikes out there, but Enotria: The Last Song makes a decent grab for your attention with day-glow brighter than bright visuals and the fresh and engaging setting of Italian mythology. Unfortunately, too many text-boxes and confusing gameplay systems, along with a healthy dose of jankiness, takes the shine off this otherwise colourful soulslike.

  Enotria: The Last Song é um RPG de ação ao estilo soulslike que consegue fugir de ser apenas mais uma cópia de grandes títulos. Seu visual único com referências artísticas e culturais italianas alinhado de seu conceito de jogabilidade de máscaras papeis e linhas torna a experiência de jogo única e necessária para qualquer fã do gênero. Um bom título de estreia nos consoles para a desenvolvedora Jyamma Games.

  Το Enotria έρχεται ανάμεσα από τις όλο και περισσότερες soulslike εμπειρίες αλλά μία από τις λίγες που είναι πραγματικά αξιόλογες. Σίγουρα δεν έρχεται να αλλάξει τα δεδομένα για το είδος, αλλά, από την άλλη, πετυχαίνει έναν δύσκολο στόχο, να προσφέρει ένα soulslike που έχει τη δική του ταυτότητα. Το παραπάνω, σε συνδυασμό με το νευραλγικό κομμάτι του καλοφτιαγμένου level design αποτελούν και τους βασικούς λόγους για να ασχοληθεί ένας λάτρης του είδους. Την επόμενη φορά ελπίζουμε πως η Ιταλική ομάδα ανάπτυξης θα αναπτύξει περισσότερο το ταλέντο της και στο τμήμα του σχεδιασμού των εχθρών, το τελευταίο κομμάτι του puzzle ώστε να προσφέρει ένα ποιοτικό πακέτο σε όλους τους τομείς.

  Enotria: The Last Song is a little rough around the edges, but still nicely playable in spite of this. The standard-level difficulty feels hard-but-fair, providing a good challenge once you get the various systems sorted out while filled with a strong variety of enemies and bosses with plenty of attacks to learn. The parry move isn't all that generous with the timing, but highly effective once you get the hang of it, and feels great when you successfully fend off a multi-hit strike. Customizing a character gives a lot of room for experimentation, and while the best method is to pick a class and build towards it, there's still plenty of leeway in how that class can play thanks to the large number of weapons with different handling and elemental affinities. Most strikingly, while Enotria is hard it's not dark, with the different qualities of sunlight feeling like a stronger theme even than the aspect of the world being a play that runs through the story. Enotria: The Last Song is a solid soulslike with a unique, appealing identity, which is plenty to paper over the rough spots on the quest to free the world from a script nobody asked for.

  If you're searching for a challenging Soulslike that trades the traditional dark and twisted environmental design for something more upbeat and sunny, then Enotria: The Last Song is definitely something worth checking out. But if it's tighter and more intricate gameplay matched up with less frustrating quirks you're after, then there are better alternatives from more established players in the space.

  Enotria: The Last Song is a beautifully Italian-inspired Souls-like that perfectly captures the theme of "Summer Souls," offering punishing combat and an intricate story, all set in a stunning world. While the game suffers from a few glaring flaws, it shows strong potential to become a recognized entry in the Souls-like genre.
