Driver Renegade 3D is an average title overall. Qualities such as smooth driving controls and an impressive open setting are let down by inconsistent levels of challenge, a city lacking in population, repetitive gameplay and, unfortunately, an irritating and clichéd main character.

From its overwhelming repetition to its tepid attempts to be cool and irreverent, Driver: Renegade 3D is a game that fails to create an action-driving hybrid that is even remotely engaging. Its solid driving mechanics have been squandered on a game that is far too boring, and the end result is a product that feels consistently rough and flawed in every way.

Driver Renegade 3D has sparks of greatness in its Career mode, but the main Story mode is a disappointing experience

A fantastic game cut far too short to be worth full price. Sadly, don't bother

Visiblement, John Tanner se sent bien mieux à San Francisco qu'à New York.
