  • Drive!Drive!Drive! is a very fun arcade racer. If you are a fan of this genre, I recommend that you pick this up. While the physics and collision problems and dying online community can dampen the experience, Drive!Drive!Drive! is like no game I have played before, and probably won’t be like any game I play after.

  • Different Cloth’s Drive!Drive!Drive! is ambitious and could have been great. Instead, it is a decent entry that could, maybe, be a solid launching pad for future sequels. At its current price, bigger racing games can be purchased in its stead. And that brings me to my original question: a racing game needs to get the simple basics right. Despite the hook of the simultaneous tracks, I would honestly remove that in a second for a less frustrating experience.

  • I’ve got to hand it to Different Cloth: They beat the odds by not only finding a new twist to make a racing game seem like a new experience, but implemented it quite well. Switching between tracks breaks races up into several micro-sprints that give the game a frenzied pace. Unfortunately, it’s everything built around that mechanic that fails to provide enough support to sustain an enjoyable experience past the first few hours of gameplay.

  • Drive!Drive!Drive! has the heart of a great arcade racer, but isn’t quite there yet. Its central gameplay hook is fantastically inventive, and the volume of content to play with it in starts off huge and is only getting bigger as the community uploads new tracks.

  • Drive!Drive!Drive! provides a fresh idea in a very established genre that doesn’t often see them anymore. While it’s easy to dismiss the track-switching action as a gimmick, it actually adds a whole different dimension to racing. There’s a lot to like here, and any racing fans that are growing tired of seemingly playing the same games repeatedly will want to check this one out.

  • Drive!Drive!Drive! is a stylish and fun attempt to rewrite the rulebook on racing games. Sadly it’s not always entirely successful, with a relatively simplistic handling model and a lack of challenge on the standard setting, but for those willing to take a chance there’s still a lot to like about it’s unique take on the racing genre.

  • It has solid gameplay but it isn’t very special nor innovative in the way of actual controls nor racing as a genre. I would recommend if you are looking for a solid racing game to look elsewhere with something that focuses on racing and not just a gimmick.
