Just finished my first playthrough of what was a very enjoyable experience. Doom is a game that almost entirely focuses on gameplay. Therefore the story leaves something to be desired but this takes nothing away from the enjoyment. As the combat is the games key selling point.

The shooting is very satisfying with a wide range of weapons to your disposal which you will have to learn to use to play the game effectively. A clever system that allows you to gain ammo and health from enemies introduces even more layers to the game. Within all of this are also small portions of platforming and exploration. Couple this with doom's amazing soundtrack by Mick Gordon and you have yourself a great game.

The only thing they fear is you

loved the action and the pace. The story was great and gameplay was nice and offered a great arsenal of weapons too. Only reason it doesn't get a perfect score is the lack of minibosses and an underwhelming final boss with limited moveset. Other than that a perfect game.

To Hell and back

Here I am again with another SUPER LATE review. I finished the game a while back but recently came back to replay some of the missions and try to find all the secrets and collectibles. That's a solid proof that this game is really good. It's exhilarating to play and will keep you playing for hours on end to finish each mission and it gives a lot of value with replayability. Even if you have explored all the locations you can still play it again on a different difficulties or try to upgrade all your weapons.

Combat/shooting is one of the best out there. It's always satisfying to smash the skull of demons with your melee attack or cut them in half with the chainsaw and see the ammos and health packs fall down like confettis.

I tried to play the online multiplayer mode but it seems that the player base is really low. It took a long time to find a match so I just quit. They probably have moved on to Doom Eternal.

100% recommended for all PS4 players and I'll probably going to play Doom Eternals after I find all the collectibles and secrets in this game

Played Doom 2016 a year ago, didn't quite like it because i barely played the Campaign.

But now it's on game pass again, i tried it and Played for a couple of hours.

It's amaizng, Story everything. Smashing blood everywhere.

It's more bloody then Doom eternal.

Doom eternal is more Arcade type while DOOM is More bloody with smashing head and blood everywhere plus It's very dark. With Every boss is Unique and Cool,

It's worth every bucks.
