- Deadlings's artwork is excellent. Well-desgined cartoony graphics dressed with cutscenes and a cutting sense of humor. Controls are responsive and intuitive. In a nutshell, an outstanding gaming experience. Only one catch worth to mention: the game's childish regarding both graphics and difficulty
Emmanuel Lund · Jun 16, 2014 Reviewed on And - That all said, Deadlings is challenging, entertaining, and oodles of fun. Accompanied by a great soundtrack and some fine looking graphics, you’ll really be missing out on this humor-filled action-packed delight if you don’t pick it up.
Lucy Ingram · Mar 26, 2014 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - Even with the “reasonable” pricing, it’s hard not to define Deadlings by its shortcomings rather than its successes; a shame, because those successes scream to be genuinely enjoyable. I genuinely want to give it a pass for what it does wrong, and that, at least, says something.
Steven Strom · Mar 18, 2014 Reviewed onRead full review - The graphics are vibrant, and the animations work well, even if the splashes of red are slightly sobering. I like the game flow, but would have preferred a simpler restart mechanism. All in all? Solid game, simple layout, loads of free-to-play fun.
Tre Lawrence · Mar 18, 2014 Reviewed on And - The only particular thing to recommend being aware of is the game’s advertising of over 100 levels spread across it’s four stages; we counted only 60, though the game notes that there are more to come soon.
David Oxford · Mar 13, 2014 Reviewed on AndRead full review - Deadlings doesn't quite offer that 'just one more go' factor but it doesn't stop it being quite fun to figure out. It's certainly cheeky that there are so many in-app purchases available to speed up one's progress or make the odds go more so in one's favor, but at least they're not essential to progress. Occasionally frustrating (mostly when hitting a wall), Deadlings makes a pleasant change thanks to a mixture of game types.
Jennifer Allen · Mar 10, 2014 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - For the price point, Deadlings offers a lot of content, executed with consistency in quality, and with enough variation to feel fresh. This is a really solid title that doesn’t outstay its welcome, and is a worthy addition for your eShop collection.
Benjamin Hayhoe · Mar 02, 2020 Reviewed on SwitchRead full review - Despite pacing issues, Deadlings undead puzzle platforming is a charming enough diversion. Just don't expect it to consume your life.
Alex Beech · Mar 19, 2014 Reviewed on iOSRead full review - It all blends together to make a slick, interesting puzzle-platformer that takes chunks of inspiration from a handful of sources and mashes them together to create a game that's well worth sinking some of your time into. An interestingly built mix of puzzling and platforming, Deadlings is intriguing enough to keep you entertained for a good while.

Flappy Deadling – A new level that eats cute flappy birds for breakfast with its difficulty. Protect your undead in a maze of deadly saws and spikes. Feed him as many brains as possible before he dies in the gruesome laboratory of Death. There’s no happy ending here!
