- در صنعتی که غول‌های توسعه‌دهنده و ناشر آن، عناوینی با بودجه‌های کلان را پر از باگ و با کیفیتی پایین منتشر می‌کنند، بازی‌هایی با بودجه‌هایی بسیار کمتر همچون Dave the Diver وجود دارند. آثاری که با روح و ذوق ساخته شده و موفق می‌شوند تا با ارائه گیم‌پلی دوست‌داشتنی و اعتیاد‌آور و خلق جهانی که هنر توسعه‌دهندگان‌اش در تمام جزییات آن دیده می‌شود، در کنار برخی از بزرگ‌ترین بازی‌های سال قرار بگیرند و حتی از آن‌ها جلو بزنند. هرچند Dave the Diver در برخی مواقع، عناصری از گیم‌پلی را معرفی می‌کند که به هدف برخورد نمی‌کنند، اما در نهایت مجموعه‌ای از عناصر گیم‌پلی را پیش روی گیمرها قرار می‌دهد که به شدت اعتیاد‌آور و دوست‌داشتنی هستند.

It charms with its attractive visuals and addictive loop of diving for fish and running a restaurant, but it never rests on its laurels, always finding new ways to enhance the fun. There's never a dull moment, whether it's a whole new feature expanding the gameplay, an unexpected new story beat, or another hilarious cutscene to enjoy. It's this constant reinvention and surprise that makes the game so compelling, even through the occasional rougher moments. If you've yet to experience it for yourself, we'd highly encourage that you take the plunge.

Elementos RPG y roguelike se juntan para crear algo diferente, original y muy divertido que va más allá, mucho más allá de lo que parece indicar su sencillo aspecto.

Dave The Diver is a sprawling, beautiful and immensely fun video game. The rogue-lite and management genres are blended with nigh-on perfection, and the presentation is simply stellar. Serving up what can only be described as a remarkable masterclass, Dave The Diver is a must-play for anyone yet to sample this delectable treat.

A aventura marítima é forte, objetiva e muito cativante, e inclui conteúdos capazes de prenderem os jogadores por dezenas de horas. Além disso, o título se destaca pelos visuais belíssimos em pixel-art, pelo alívio cômico agradável e por ser algo que todo game devia propor: uma experiência casual, divertida e que chama a atenção por possuir essência relaxante. Dito isso, o projeto da Mintrocket é mais do que recomendado.
