- Clive Barker's Jericho is something of an oddity. On one hand it's a near-broken video game, packed full of so many gaming no-nos that it ought never to be spoken about again, but on the other it's original, atmospheric and sickeningly good fun. Many people will understandably lose interest after a few hours, but the game's many problems hide a game that deserves to be played through to completion.
Tom Orry · Oct 31, 2007 Reviewed on PC, PS3, X360Read full review - For the frustrations of it's flaws though, and believe me, playing through Jericho has definitely been a frustrating experience at times, there's just something about the overall game that kept me coming back and had the experience haunting a place at the back of head for some days afterwards.
David Houghton · Oct 31, 2007 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Jericho is way too ambitious and it hurts on every side. While not broken, it’s poorly designed and dull, from spawning enemies making the tactical play irrelevant, to a horror story that, despite its charm and intricacies, just isn’t scary. Jericho may be art, but not all art is good.
Game Trailers · Oct 30, 2007 Reviewed on PS3, X360 - Jericho is both a triumph and a disaster, and not a lot of games manage to be both of these at once. Frustrating, exciting, inconsistent, linear--these words and many more describe the various elements of Clive Barker's Jericho. If you've got a high tolerance for gameplay annoyances and like the feeling of imposing dread and claustrophobia this corridor crawl provides, by all means, give it a shot.
Kevin VanOrd · Oct 29, 2007 Reviewed on PC, PS3, X360Read full review - They don't distract you from the game's simplistic underlying structure. Instead of getting caught up in the struggle against a demonic force that threatens the continued existence of your race, you're left with tacked-on squad elements, poor friendly and enemy AI, repetitive encounters, and unabashedly linear levels. Jericho has a few memorable moments, but they're not worth the cash.
Charles Onyett · Oct 26, 2007 Reviewed on PCRead full review - Clive Barker’s Jericho doesn’t provide the same degree of deep and engaging gameplay as Undying, opting instead for a more accessible, mainstream adventure that can be frightening at best, and repetitive at worst. Still, the game has no shortage of action and intensity.
jkdmedia · Oct 23, 2007 Reviewed on PS3, X360Read full review - Jericho doesn't really bring anything new to the gaming world. It does blend the gory horrific mind of Clive Barker and a shooter game. Just in time for Halloween, this will be a game to remember and help fill your night with the required amounts of gore On the other hand, if you are looking for a horror game with a deep gameplay experience, this is probably not the next must buy game.
Matt Walker · Oct 23, 2007 Reviewed on PC, PS3, X360Read full review - On the whole, Jericho is an intriguing experiment that almost comes off for Codemasters. Clive Barker's contribution to the concept and narrative direction of the game will certainly help get the attention of horror fans, and few who put the time into exploring Jericho's intricacies will come away disappointed.
Kristan Reed · Oct 24, 2007 Reviewed on X360Read full review - The plot is great, but feels like it's had the meat excised and the characters are paper-thin. Clive Barker's next development team is going to have to keep it nasty but watch some Japanese horror if it wants the next game to be a success.

A supernatural horror action game with a story devised by the master mythmaker, novelist and filmmaker Clive Barker. Mingling the darkest elements of Barker's horror fiction and films, Jericho deals with the mysterious reappearance of a lost city in a remote desert.
