  • As such, everything contained within Cat Quest 3 added up to a satisfying, fulfilling romp — and while I never encountered an obstacle that I couldn’t overcome within five minutes of trying, I did feel like I had accomplished something at the story’s conclusion, which only serves to show how expertly knitted-together the experience is. I found it to be utterly irresistible and, dare I say, purr-found!

  • Overall, I found this nine-hour jaunt to be superior to Cat Quest II, which already wasn’t a bad game. As I suggested earlier, all the developers had to do was beef up the game slightly, which they did. This is the definitive comfy game that you can play with a spouse, friend, or child. If this trajectory is any indication of what the developers can accomplish with the series, I’m eager to see what they do next.

  • Cat Quest III is a short, fun game with simple but interesting combat that will keep you occupied for a few evenings. While largely a standalone, there are plenty of nods to the previous games in the series.

  • Cat Quest III successfully taps into and refines many appealing traits from its predecessors, while taking at least a moderate step forward. The combat and world design are especially fleshed out nicely. I do feel there's still some untapped potential as a whole — especially regarding the simplistic questing system. But Cat Quest III is nonetheless a delightful ARPG that embodies what I love about the genre: colorful themes, adventuring, and thrilling, fast-paced combat that also yields subtle depth. It’s purr-haps the most entertaining and cheeky in the trilogy, and certainly worth its $20 price tag.

  • Cat Quest III is a fantastic addition to a terrific series. with local co-op and a sea-faring theme, everything feels fresh yet familiar. A humorous story coupled with fast-paced action makes this one a fun time all round.

  • Cat Quest 3 is another solid entry in the adorable, indie RPG series. Its fast-paced land and sea combat, colorful designs, and fun new additions make this a must-play for anyone looking for a short, entertaining experience. However, after over eight hours with the game, I can’t help but feel like this game was only half-cooked. Its lack of content and filler story makes me feel like this was initially a spin-off game and the true sequel fans expected will be coming next. If you’re after a short, cute adventure filled with charm, fun, and can stomach a lot of cat puns then this is a definitely a must play for you. Grab your first mate, raise the sails, and set off on a pawsome sea-faring journey.

  • Cat Quest 3 is a short, approachable RGB with a modest open world and a simple narrative, but still manages to be one of the most enjoyable, fun gaming experiences I've had all year thanks to its delightful and surprisingly varied combat, its adorable and consistent world, and a cute cast of furry characters. It's a great game for all ages, and even supports local two-player co-op.

  • Cat Quest III serves as a fantastic introduction to this charming franchise. With surprisingly deep combat, intriguing exploration, and wild story turns, the game kept me up far later than I intended for several nights in a row. Appropriate for the kids, but good enough that Dad soon booted the kids off the controller and took over. If you can stand the endless puns, this is a great, breezy action RPG that will entertain the entire family for hours.

  • Cat Quest 3 es una encantadora aventura perfecta para iniciarse en el género. La evolución respecto al segundo juego puede ser pequeña, pero eso no lo hace menos divertido, lo juegues en solitario o en compañía.
